Even if it was a distraction, at the end of E2 we see real panic at the TVA and their screens show branches growing like weeds. When we see the tva again in E4 it isn't mentioned. I guess it wasn't really a big deal and they just fixed it offscreen?

I really like Mobius, he's the most entertaining part of the show in my opinion. I can safely say he's my 2nd favorite new character from these MCU shows. Sylvie is okay but I find her to be a bit bland. I was never the hugest fan of Loki in the movies so I don't mind the changes to his character and find it refreshing if anything.

I am definitely digging this show, it's wacky in the right ways for me much like WandaVision. I think it'll turn out better if the finale really sticks the landing where the finale of WV couldn't quite.

The Good, the Bad and the Loki is now on D+, pretty funny stuff and Hiddleston did his own voice acting.

That or maybe something that will be put into play later.

With the first episode of Loki, I was totally onboard. I even thought it was better than what we had gotten from WandaVision and The Falcon and Winter Soldier, which both ended up being mediocre at best. The second episode of Loki was... eh... okay. But then there was episode 3 -- that's where the series took a real nosedive, and it only seems to keep getting worse. This show is just painful to watch. It is truly friggin' awful.

Who is writing and directing this crap? Decades of Marvel Comics history to pull from and they give us this dreck? There are moments where it seems like the banter between characters is being made up on the fly while the camera is left running just to meet the episode's required runtime. Probably the worst thing Marvel Studios has produced so far.

One more episode to go! I'm not sure I can contain my excitement to see how it ends.

Yeah, I don't expect my post here to be popular, but I wanted to express my opinion anyway.
That’s a fair enough assessment. I can understand where expectations might have been held vs what has been actually delivered.

There’s pros and cons to a developed MCU focused television series. Obviously the feeling of having “extra padding” as we’re so used to the 135min typical Marvel film and not a near 5.5 hour six week episodic story.

So plot wise might feel stretched thin.

Not to mention the whole Marvel has comics history to pull from yet aren’t using them complaint. Same can be applied to Star Wars. Look at the treasure trove of Legends canon at their disposal. Yet it’s only used in a fan service wink and nod reference in the media entertainment.

Now. I wouldn’t say Loki is painful to watch or written crap. I find it mildly average though relatively entertaining. So it’s doing it’s job to provide enjoyment just fine for me.

But hey, I get that not everyone will see the same perspective as others; so thanks for providing a different genuine take on your opinion of the show.

Wasn't much of a fan of the latest episode, I'm intrigued as to how they'll wrap it up since this one was all set-up. The references were fun but I'm not really sure what this is building to. However, as I always do, I'll wait for the last episode before making full judgement. Not that ep 5 was awful or anything, I just felt like not all that much happened and there's only one left to go.

Remember back in E2 when a huge deal was made of Sylvie sending all those time bombs throughout history, creating chaos at the tva and causing lots of branches at once? Apparently the writers don't.
considering if they fix a problem then no damage is done then all she really did was thin out their numbers temporarily like setting off a bunch of alarms to slow response times. They never mentioned it afterward because it was kind of obvious they fixed the timelines and their isn't really anything more to say about the matter.

It was a distraction it distracted but them but it wasn't enough for her to complete her job while also having to deal with loki.

Episode 5 was pretty crazy, but a bit too much Loki for much me but this Episode had a good Doctor Who Hype, so at least it was a nice fun without much story. Just preparation for the season finale.

Mobius is from Atlantis. (Or maybe he just sold jet skis in his previous life.)

Renslayer is a varient too.

It will be hinted that the story Classic Loki (Richard E. Grant) told about tricking Thanos is what the Loki we know did to avoid death too. (I remember reading fan theories about that exact scenario.)

The TVA will still be around at the end of all this, but will be to find renegade time travelers, not to erase people or timelines.

We will see Coulson again.
Im with u on the first one.

Yeah, I’m with you. I felt I’ve been a bit negative on the whole thing but I obviously don’t want to take it away from anyone else who’s been enjoying it. Just needed to air out some thoughts.

And I agree with you on the time bombs, I know it’s been explained away, but when you put it as a cliffhanger, you should know better than to put some sort of payoff for it.

Majority of episodes appear to be released at 3 a.m. EST. While this may appear strange, it means that the new episodes will be released at midnight (west coast), and no one will be able to watch them before anybody else.

But then some people see it during the day & then talk about it so they do see it first while others cant watch till at night.

If it was released at night almost everyone could watch it then.

But…. There’s time zones.

I wake up and the first thing I do is watch the latest episode.. Or if I work mornings, I wait until after I come home and watch it later at night. That’s how streaming works. You just watch when you have the available time to do so.
