Tough loss for my 'Canes today. We had a real chance to win that game up until Morris went down. I hope he's not out a long time, but it looked to be a pretty serious injury. A real shame, he was having a break out season.

agree. i'm sure it will be announced tomorrow by the commissioner.

and i really hate it about the missouri player that was hurt on the next-to-last play. it didn't look that serious at first, but then when they showed the replay and i saw how he landed, i knew it had to hurt like hell.

hope he's better soon and is back on the field quickly.

My Hokies actually played like - well, Hokies - for the first time this season after sleeping in the first quarter. Duke put up 20 points real quick and then it was all Tech from there on out. Why they waited until the sixth game of the season to finally start playing, I'll never know, but the upcoming Clemson game might be something to watch, even for those with no skin in the game. Their remaining schedule is getting easier by the week, so they may still get 10 games yet.

i agree with him still being the front runner. one "bad" week (even though his stats weren't terrible) doesn't seem to ruin people like it used. and it being this early in the season may help. hell, RGIII went like 9-3 or something and still won and didn't have outstanding games all season, so anything is possible.

Oh man. I'm finally just getting home to catch up on today's action. Been at a big wedding (as best man) that went on from 9 am until past 8 pm.

Looks like West Virginia finally got exposed. Geno Smith still put up solid numbers though. It's not his fault the WVA defense blows. Another blowout win for Alabama too.

At this point, how do you not think he's the #1 pick? He's a better passer than Cam Newton (who went #1 two years ago) and displays much more maturity, work ethic, and leadership ability.

Are you kidding me? Klein averages barely one TD per game. Smith averages like 5 per game.

Klein's numbers:
7 TD, 2 Int, 166.6 QB Rating

Smith's numbers:
25 TD, 0 Int, 202.2 QB Rating

How is it Geno Smith's fault WVA's defense blows? He still had a decent game today.

He is a great college QB but he's no Cam Newton(freakiest of the freaky). Andre Ware maybe.

I think he'll be a much better NFL quarterback than Cam Newton. Newton has really regressed from year one to year two. He really lacks leadership qualities.
