As I suggested many times in the past, before the Disney/Fox deal was revealed, Marvel Studios were in talks with Fox, and those talks could have even been what spurred the idea of Disney buying Fox.
Kevin Feige claims he has no plans for Fantastic Four and X-Men characters just yet until the deal is finalized. However, I don't 100% believe him, since he said years ago that he sets things up anyway in case he ever does get the film rights to all those other characters. You can even tell by how they set up the mutant discrimination with Scarlet Witch in Captain America: Civil War. Then again, that could be a coincidence.

I think a lot of the shit we're hearing about Fox continuing to develop films of Marvel properties is a ruse conducted by Disney/Marvel and Fox to distract people from Marvel Studio's plans for Phase Four (including maybe things being set up in Avengers 4). They are playing things close to the chest and giving us red herrings to throw everyone off.

I don't know about that. Fox just has to operate as usual in case this deal doesn't go through.

Yup!

I don't know if that many people have me on ignore or what but I believe I've posted it f***ing twice now and it's gone fairly ignored. It was an Instagram post from Josh Brolin throwing out an unmistakable nod to the FF. I don't buy it being a coincidence at all. They made a deal with Fox like they did with Sony, I just know it.

If we are both wrong, who cares because the movie should still be epic as all hell.

Him and the Russos admitted awhile back that they had two scripts going for Civil War in case they couldn't make the deal with Sony to share Spider-Man.

Kevin Feige is keeping things close to the chest. He's most likely having to lie because sooooo many dumb ass so called modern "journalists" these days still don't have the professionalism to NOT ask questions that they know the answers to will involve spoilers.

Yup. Starting to think some of the X-shenanigans are due to this. I mean, New Mutants was finished already, then they delayed it. Then they delayed it again. It's been pushed so far back, they've got time to entirely refilm the movie. Then there's all of these "Untitled X-men" and "Untitled Marvel" projects littering the schedule... I really think they've got something massive in the works, maybe a multi-film, universe-wide crossover like Secret Wars, with a new "issue" hitting theaters every few months. People tend to forget that Phase One took four years for six movies; I could easily see them doing six movies in one year now. Black Panther has obliterated the idea of franchise fatigue. Moviegoers clearly love what Marvel is doing, they'd be crazy not to ramp things up even more.

The charging scene in Wakanda is way too LotR..... in an Avenger film seems really odd imo.

This is a war movie, they're going to war, at least as much as they can within the constraints of the MCU and PG-13 limitations.

ARRIRAW (6.5K) (source format)
Digital Intermediate (4K) (master format)
Dolby Vision

I think that means it was shot in 6.5K and mastered in 4K. Right?

Actually, it's most likely it got mastered in 2K instead.

Yeah, but a technologically futuriistic society and flying superheroes vs advanced aliens from another galaxy... charge each other on foot in a field with melee weapons?

That's just the way they shot it and the way they filmed it, I doubt it will stick out in the flow of the film.

I believe I also read somewhere it will feature 12.1 surround sound. Can anyone confirm that as still being true?

say what you want to say, Marvel Studios is rolling like no one could have ever imagined! what a time to be alive and be a comic book/super hero fan!
So Jim Cameron lost his crown
Wow. Would not have thought BP would have made such an impact. Not that it’s not great,
