If everyone else could put Ruined and miribeau on their ignore lists that would be great. Stop falling for their bait and they will have nothing left to post.

I did. And I am happy with it. I’m a fan of the movie, it’s the type of horror I enjoy. 80s, gory, inadvertent humor, modest production value, but effort and charm.

If anyone is looking for specific titles from Code Red or DF without the hassles or hysterics, I've recently posted a few for sale in the trading forum. Looking to thin my collection a bit.

Well, I thoroughly enjoyed Dead Pit. I don't know how I managed to miss/ignore it for so long (I mean it has a splatter rating of 8 in Chas. Balun's More Gore Score!). So much to enjoy.

I thought the bru-lay presentation was quite nice. I do not sit close to the screen and look for imperfections. Throughout nothing ever really took me out of the film, and many moments of detail and color were simply excellent. Maybe a little instability, and a bizarre moment with what looked like RF interfearance on an exterior shot (who knows?) but this was minor stuff. The only really bad moment was a one second audio glitch (likely in the source) in the first 30 seconds of the film that I wish they had fixed or even muted - I was worried for a moment but all was well afterwards.

So really happy with the release. And yes, I must have the mind of a 6 year old because I really like the GID cover. Do wish the interior art was reversible with something different; I've come to like slips being different from the case art.

Enjoyed the interview with the lead actress and director. And at 18 minutes into the director interview there is a nice few moments showing the original VHS cover art with working light up eyes. But where the heck is the commentary he references 3 or 4 times?

I picked it up as a bundle with Zombie Nightmare, a title I never got around to getting. I rather like having proper versions of movies I discovered through MST3K (tho I draw the line at Hobgoblins.) They were packed really well, I got them a week after ordering, and like my other two Dark Force transactions everything went smoothly. Just saying.

Sorry to be so long winded!

You really think I need to sell 10 copies of DEAD PIT on Ebay, Nerd? I've said this a hundred times we made 1000 of which we didn't list all at once for various reasons. Each time we listed it they sold out quickly and we now have 80 left that will be made available for sale. That does not include the 10 we will keep at Dark Force. This was one of our biggest and best accomplishments. Of course we want minimum of 10 for ourselves.

God, all these NUMBERS! Isn't it shifting for, like, $100+ on eBay? That's at least $1,000 for you to spend on protein shakes and personal organ enhancements.

And if day one, you had sold one copy per household limit you would be at the same point now. Instead nobody would be upset, scalpers would be non existent, new traffic through you store, and everyone that wanted a copy would have one. FACT

We had to do extensive color work on PSYCHO FROM TEXAS because all previous masters looked like crap. Have an amazing "Drive-In Mode" intermission done by Damon Packard. The slip for this one is a work of art. And lastly GATES OF HELL is the US theatrical version created from a 35mm print with the Gates of Hell main title. It cost us a lot of money to do this one and we prefer to sell it in different bundles which will be more of a bargain. Buy it alone and it will be 39.95. We don't care if we sell 10 of them.
And yet you still didn't learn. NOBODY wants to be FORCED to buy a bundle. It's very simple. You set a price for Gates of Hell. THEN you have "if you buy any of these select titles" you get a discount on a bundle. Buy Gates of Hell with one other Blu from list (set price) , by GOH with TWO other Blu's from list(set price), and so on. But let the customer choose among a list of films. No pre set bundles.

Side note. We all know what you're doing. You're purposely bundling brand new (and popular/wanted) films with inventory that you can't move. That's like selling an expensive watch, and saying yeah, but you got to buy these two crappy timex watches as part of the package. And before you say , the other films people really want too... oh really? Take the challenge, and set the sale up like I said. See how many of those "bundles" you sell, when people aren't forced to buy extra blu's. Here's the challenge, add the the entire catalog in the store to the list. Buy GOH, and any other blu from the store (get a discount on the bundle) See what films move and which films don't.
