Best Moments:
1.) They played the THX intro sound effect.
2.) Inception didn't win best picture/director. Woo!
3.) Kirk Douglas on-stage. In a business that mainly cares about looks and if you're "perfect", he certainly showed the normal side of flaky Hollywood. Him throwing down the envelope was hilarious.

Other than that, what a terd.

Undeserved win by Hooper and King's Speech for Director and Picture imo

My favorite of the nominees was Toy Story 3, but I knew that wouldn't happen, so my pick to win would have been Social Network followed by The Fighter.

Inception should have gotten score and at least a nomination for editing and walked away with 5 or 6 statues.

The only thing King's Speech deserved was Best Actor.

I am happy with this years Oscars as The Social Network didnt win best picture.

Otherwise, it was the Oscar season I was least excited about as there where only two movies I really cared about, The Fighter and Toy Story 3.
Wish all the prices where divided between them.

amen, it was so overrated and had no likable characters

the critics who voted it so high have the same personalities as those in the film

Well said on all accounts. Hans Zimmer was robbed.

As was The Town. Zero noms. What gives?

I'm happy Inception tied for most wins although I really thought it would win for Original Score as well.

So why is Hilary Swank introducing Kathryn Bigelow who's presenting Best Director? Because the Academy told me that Bigelow refused to say the lines that had been written for her.

Wondered what was up with that.

That and playing The King's Speech over the montage of other nominees...did anyone have any doubt left who had won at that point?

It was also tasteless.

Good job whoever came up with that brilliant idea....

I wanted the Social Network to win best picture.

Daron to win best director

Franco to win best actor.

Toy Story 3 is the best movie of 2010 regardless of what the Oscar elitist judges say

Close but I'd say Inception is #1. I'll put Woody and Buzz at #2 though.

I would have certainly picked Toy Story 3 over The King's Speech. But The Social Network was the best picture of 2010.
