Will the limited edition come with regular Blu Ray casing, or will the disks be packed into that thing some other way?

They could be stored, sans case, in the base? Probably too early to say, definitively, one way or another.

I have never bought a collector's edition, but this thing is calling my name. (If this holds true)

I don't buy them either, it would probably start a whole new addiction. Suddenly I'd have to start buying the Collector's Editions for everything that looked cool. Same reason I stay away from SteelBooks and Digibooks. I figure I can afford to actually buy more movies overall if I stick with buying the cheapest version I can that has everything that I truly want.

It's calling your name? Now that's a pretty neat feature!

Just seen the official Facebook page of The Dark Knight Rises and they posted the limited edition blu-ray set. Looks like it is official for Dec. 4th.

I do, but it was more a poke at all the BDs that have/will come out this year. Not to worry, I'm not really that bad with finances!

I hope there is a Digibook to go with my Batman Begins and Dark Knight Digibooks.

Don't know if this has been posted yet but some neat info on the Cowl Edition and how it will hold the discs.
Was sorta hoping that it would hold a copy of the Blu-ray/DVD combo packaging on the bottom.

I wouldn't get too excited just yet. Knowing that this is a Warner new release Blu-ray the featurettes are probably gonna be like 2 to 3 minutes long. I hope to hell I am wrong and they last at least 5 to 10 minutes each at least but Warner Bros usually does nothing but disappoint on their new releases.

Thanks for posting. Honestly this kind of turns me off a bit. I like having all my Blu rays stacked or aligned neatly, and the portability of them as well obviously. I don't want to double dip. Still lots of time to decide.

If you look at the actual cowl edition photos that just got released today, it says Blu-ray + DVD + Ultraviolet. Therefore, assuming that there will be 2 blu-ray's (1 for movie, 1 for special features), all those discs wouldn't fit in that small case. So hopefully there's a place where they slide the regular blu-ray and slip in under the stand.

Definitely getting the cowl for display and the regular edition for my collection. Will buy any other edition this has as well. Loved the movie.
