I am happy to see BYU win. 3 of them were very close games and BYU could've won.

Looks like USC is about to lay another egg. They're down 39-28 to Arizona with 5 minutes left.

Can't believe Florida lost to Georgia. In fact it shouldn't have even been that close.

I knew it was going to happen sooner or later. Florida is not balance enough on offense. It's bitter sweet for me we needed them to be ranked number 2 when they came to the play us.

The Oklahoma/Notre Dame game is really good, but Oklahoma really needs to start putting more points on the board. If you let Notre Dame hang around, they will win.

Reality check time for Mississippi St. Thus far they'd had a relatively easy early part of the schedule, going 7-0. Alabama is crushing them 21-0. And they have Texas A&M and LSU the next two weeks.

Yup, 3-0 in the SEC against teams with a combined conference record of 0-17 (5-19 overall).

Alabama hasn't really played anybody yet either. They beat a Michigan team that isn't what everybody thought they were going to be. And now they're beating a Mississippi State team that only got to #11 because of their conference (see Ohio/Rutgers).

I wonder what he'll do if he wins another championship at Bama... I mean how much more can you accomplish than 1 with LSU 3 with Bama and 2 back-to-back.

Back to the NFL. Saban has a monstrous ego, he'll want to prove he can win at the NFL level after his failure with the Dolphins.

He was only an NFL coach for two seasons. I'm not sure that he was there long enough to be considered a "failure." JMO.

He probably shouldn't have quit what he started then. He wasn't successful with the Dolphins.

Dolphins troubles have always been at the very top. Saban was in an impossible situation with that franchise. I still think he could have been successful in a better situation in the NFL. But at this point I think he's be crazy to ever leave Alabama. He already has 3 national titles, two at Alabama. He could to 5 easy if he stays there long-term.

Agreed. Saban was 15-17 coaching the Dolphins. That's a better record than just about every coach there since Shula. Personally I thought he made the best of a bad situation.

Neither has Oregon. We'll have a better idea of just how good Oregon is next week when they travel to USC. They still have to play Oregon St. and Stanford too.
