If you want to post comments at the end of stories at ESPN.com, you have to use a Facebook account. I'm sure some people make up fake accounts just to post on boards, but the vast majority use their real accounts with their real names, real photos and real circle of friends and family.

And they still act like douche bag jackasses.

I wonder how things would be on the internet if full disclosure was required everywhere -- message boards, YouTube, Rotten Tomatoes, Amazon reviews, porn sites, the whole nine yards. Do you think people would still act like such terrible human beings to one another?

Plenty of people commit heinous acts in full view. People who hide behind aliases are still d-bags, even if they are anonymous.

i think they probably would NOT act like that. the internet offers anonymity to anyone who chooses so some use that anonymity to be a different person than they are in real life.

i believe that if you have the balls to say something to/about someone online then you should have the balls to say it to their face.

but alas the internet has created a bunch of p*ssies who feel they can say anything they want while hiding behind a keyboard.

The fact that my Wife's CA-125 results have gone from just under 1800 a month ago to 2996 (found out yesterday), even though the Chemo cocktail she's been receiving all through this period is the strongest and most kick ass available. In other words, her Cancer is spreading and there isn't a damn thing anybody can do.

When my son will get off his ASS and find a job!! Took out a loan for college for him. Wanted to go to Bowling Green. Did that. Wanted to stay at the dorm. Did that. Wanted to focus on school and not work while going to school. Did that. Needed $$ sent to him periodically. Did that. He had no girlfriend at the time, no car, and was not a partyier. All he had to do was GO TO CLASS AND DO THE WORK!! That's all he had to do. Goes on Academic probation his first semester. FLUNKS OUT HIS SECOND SEMESTER!! His freshmen year!! After he flunks out....he tells me college may not be for him!! REALLY??!!?? Now you tell me..after wasting $26,000 for NOTHING!! I work two jobs to help him get where he wanted to be..and he flunks out. Now...I'm going to have to get a third job to pay off this college loan and he DOES'T FEEL GUILTY ENOUGH TO GO OUT AND GET A JOB TO HELP PAY OFF THE LOAN I GOT FOR HIM!!!

Love you son. Want the best for you in life. Want you to be more successful than your old man. But your PISSING ME OFF with your laziness and unwillingness to help pay off this loan by not seeking employment!! Your 19..going to be 20 in April. I was the complete opposite at your age!! I worked year round. Went to school full time. Studied my ass off. You haven't worked a real job yet. Last ''job'' you ''worked'' was at a haunted house last September thru October. Time before that was 2 years ago at an amusement park. Both were fun jobs..but were SEASONAL!!! Not all jobs are fun and there are many people out there who work their asses off at those jobs. Tried talking to you. Tried reasoning with you. Got you several job applications from places that were hiring. I'm at my wits end with you. Dont want to kick you out..but your inaction on ANYTHING is starting to make me reconsider that thought.
