iv been searching for the steelbook of district 9 to pre-order on the fs website everywhere and havnt found it yet... do you have a link for it? it kinda sucks if what you say is true bcuz i find 50% of the movies i love on blu are warner releases...

I think it depends on the store, some will, some won't. I think because they also consider shipping on top of the price which is like $5 standard.

A friend of mine PM Afro Samurai from Best Buy since Amazon.ca is selling for 12.98 compared to 29.99 so he got it for $11.28 + tax.

Wouldn't harm i guess, just depends on the customer service rep and what the manager says.

FYI, the Best Buy bonus disc for Public Enemies is 31 minues & is made up of 4 featurettes. The flyer is VERY misleading since it states 26.99 w/ bonus disc, yet they're trying to charge 28.99. I had mine adjusted at the register to 26.99 & so should all of you.

it was 10% off all blus last week.. he pre-ordered them at that time and thus got the discount. i believe some ppl even got to use coupons.. not sure about that.

the only way to actually find that out is by visiting specific stores... i only list my location as toronto for purposes of trading (its easily recognizable for US members on the forum) but i actually reside in Pickering (a small town just 10 mins east of scarborough) i will be heading in the area of my local fs tomorrow so i can check at that location for you then.

hey cardman, thx if you can pick up a steelbook of star trek for me, i think it was 22.99, even if it's under 30 i buy it, it's just here in ottawa there is no more as i was stupid to buy from bb, then i got the ship only to sell the movies to a kid for $20. anyways if you find one that would be great, perhaps i can buy something else from u thx

actually one of my friends worked at fs before and he said each store got a min of 20 steelbooks for in store sales only and that there would always be 2-3 guys in the store that knew how much they were worth online so theyd buy out most of the copies before the store even opened on release day leaving only 5 or so for any walk-in customers.

Public Enemies steelie, the matte finish is great won't show all the fingerprints on a steelie and Harry Potter regular amaray was in the mail this morning, 2-disc only, doh guess the 3rd disc is the DC figment of our imagination ha! cast a spell upon us other than that, spent more time shovelling than br viewing
