Played the demo for a little while, impressions:

Did one mission two missions as Good Cole and one as Evil Cole.

Definitely a better feel for the game than the Beta had (though the Beta offered quite a few more powers to tinker with).

Cole feels pretty agile and traversing the buildings and other objects around the city feel the appropriate speed. Though they said they made him less "sticky"...he feels exactly the same to me....

Thank God the enemies can take more hits here than in the Beta missions, it makes the melee system a tad more interesting and actually worth using on occasion.

Now that I've gotten to use it myself...the tornado thing is cool...but the lightning storm from the first game is still MUCH cooler/better. I'm not sure if that makes a return this time or not. I think I saw it in one of the earlier trailers, but I don't remember for certain.

New Cole's voice has grown on me, but it is still inferior to the original voice imo.

I'm trying to get myself

like I once was for this game...but it just isn't happening. I definitely want to play the full game and see how things turn out....but I doubt I'm going to buy it at all after getting a taste of the real game finally. My plan up until today was to buy it when it gets cheaper. I'm going to rent it from Blockbuster next week (or soon after when I can put a large amount of time into it over 5 days) and see if I can get the platinum in one rental.

Played for about 6 hours total and am only 12% complete. The game is awesome though. The ability to create missions isn't available yet, the manual states you have to have a certain percentage complete to do so.

Are there any Ravagers in the demo? Those dudes are wicked tough.

I was thinking about the original game lately...and how I loved it but got bored after finishing the platinum and not feeling any need to go back to it.

Maybe after I rent this one I'll feel differently and buy it later down the road...I would be very pleasantly surprised if that happens

I know, the game is apparently a good bit longer than the original

But I've read the blast shards are much easier to collect this time....so that's gotta count for something.

Just played the demo....WOW awesome game!

The power went to my head a bit though, left a trail of destrution and dead bodies...i was a bad boy...great fun though

Maybe even a GOTY condender IMO

Just finished playing through the Demo. I like it as much as the first one but Cole's voice will take some getting used to. I like that we can do melee now as well.

When did the PSN demo end for everyone? Mine ended when I was collecting the medical supplies as good Cole, I did the d-pad attack on a lone grunt and it ended. I didn't even see what the attack looked like.
