I noticed Engadget ran a story on this and mentioned the cowl edition. It's supposed to be released December 4th. Pretty cool!

Not a fan of the gimmick induced editions, but that special edition looks sweet and barring any other version exceeding it with disc content, day 1 buy for the broken cowl for me and display it right by the batpod

That looks like a pretty slick exclusive! Would love to get it but I prefer another steelbook to go alongside BB and TDK.

So I suppose The Dark Knight Trilogy Ultimate Collector's Edition will be a re-pack of the normal Blu-rays. I someday want comprehensive extras and deleted scenes for these movies!

So, via the press release, there will be a "The Dark Knight Trilogy Ultimate Collector's Edition" to hit stores sometime in 2013.

Yeah, I'll wait for that one.

So Warner used both 35mm and IMAX footage for the transfer from the two masters? Yes!

Can someone tell me what this ultimately means? Are we getting the same shifting AR like in The Dark Knight?
