I've got so much stuff but not enough time to shoot them. I've just got a new DSLR so you can expect some much better images showing off my stuff.

Starting with my most recent: Macross F Shooting Star BOX.

Is Karneval a good show? I couldn't make heads or tails of it from Funimation's trailer.

It's pretty bad. I gave it a 4/10. Literally no plot. Insufferable characters. All it really has going for it is its animation.

It's too bad because this boxset is very pretty!!

Yes, they are pretty much the exact same thing...I can't even tell what has been edited with the slightly shortened run time.

It doesn't matter where something is animated. So much animation is outsourced overseas from all points of the world its not even funny.

What deterimins if something is 'anime' or not is A)where the production team is based and B) what market its first airing run is intended for. Anime airs for Japanese-first audiences. American toons air for Americans, etc... secondary markets don't matter in terms of arbitrary labeling.

At the end of the day personal preferences trump all. But where the raw animation happens to be done certainly doesn't have anything to do with the labeling.

Considering some people think Haganai and DxD are good and I think they are shit, it depends. For me it has beautiful characters/visuals, great action and doesn't outstay its welcome.

In addition to the AoT digibook, I also got my Eureka Seven Part 1 LE and Part 2 from Fry's today. For some reason, they always ship their packages via UPS to the local post office, and then USPS does the actual delivery - kind of an odd arrangement, but... Maybe it's some kind of Media Mail thing...

So UPS delivered my package to the local post office at 11:30am, after the mail carriers all had left for their deliveries, so I called and ask if I could pick it up at the PO later in the day since I was off work today, rather than wait for it to be delivered tomorrow... They called me back right at 4:00, they had just gotten the sorting done, and I quick drove over and got it before they closed for the day.

The thing you are talking about with UPS is called UPS Mail Innovations.

UPS will deliver it to your local Post Office and they in turn deliver it to you.

They even have their own tracking site with is different then the standard UPS one.

http://www.ups-mi.net/packageID/

Amazon does this as well sometimes. I hate it because if you have Prime, they take two days to get to the Post Office. Then it can sit at the Post Office for God knows how long before it comes to your or you get the P.O. Box notification.

Nerv & Haul

yeah....the UPS Mail Innovation system, really isn't anything special and has actually further complicated things than helped streamline.
