I'm glad some people on here care about these releases enough to catch these mistakes and report them, and I'm glad to hear they're willing to correct the issues. It's frustrating when some people hop in to try and derail the thread and chastise others for caring enough to make the set better for everyone. |

I haven't viewed every episode, but those are the only two that have zooming issues so far. I am sure they are going through every episode so that they don't have to redo the replacements. I am going to spot check a couple of episodes I saw where the opening credits suddenly were enlarged, but I think those were always like that.

I have to say that I am enjoying Season 3 more than Season 2. It's campier, and more fun. Season 2 had some odd, dreary plots. This one lightens things up a bit. Not as much as the classic first season, but a bit. I wish the ABC series had run one more year, so we could see the end of WWII and how WW left the U.S.A. And the CBS series could have run another year as well, with more villains from the comic book.

I do admit I am a different creature for sure, because I probably re-read my post 10 times, and I still have issues with how I write. That is why it annoys me so much when I get criticized. I am like people, you should have saw the first 10 drafts!! Only Linda Carter could make this woman be overshadowed a hair. She was super hot and fun to watch. Thank you for pointing it out because I never made the connection! |

If they end up re-doing those particular discs, can you ask about restoring the recaps to "Boy Who Knew her Secret - pt 2" and "Phantom of the Roller Coaster - pt 2" ? After all, the back of the slip cover says it contains "every moment, every minute" LOL.

So only on the opening theme and nowhere else in the actual episode? And these are spread out over 2 discs? I wonder if WB will bother with a fix if it's only for the opening credits.

The zoom happens DURING the episode for multiple episodes, and happens in the last half of Season 3 for twelve episodes for the openings.

I still have the DVD's. I am going to have to do some comparisons. What a shame. I still haven't got around to watching more of this because I get through some other things first. Really sucks though.

Seriously though quality control anyone?
More and more in the last years companies are issuing even expensive lavish box sets full of mistakes that anyone could spot. Why don't they ask fans at least, tons of people would be happy to do it for free. This will cost them thousands or more. They will never learn! Frankly I find it's unacceptable. |

Try getting into modern board games. Holy Hell what a nightmare. My girlfriend and I buy a lot of modern board games (though we've been cutting back lately due to finances and also frustration in the industry), and if you want to see an industry where quality control is non-existent, look no further. There are tons of wonderful new games being designed these days featuring gorgeous production design, unique components and interesting game mechanics. Some come from the larger publishers, and many come as a result of Kickstarter campaigns. But they almost all have one thing in common -outside of a couple German publishers, virtually all board games are manufactured in China. One component is made in one factory, another component in another factory - whoever can offer to get the specified job done. It's then all assembled,. shipped by boat to destination companies, and shipped out. Sadly, the publisher only sees an initial pre-production sample. Once they give the okay for final production, it's out of their hands and they often don't even see anything other than a final production copy when they're ready to go out. No way to check the manufacturing as it's ongoing. And there are so many quality issues to find. Rule book misprints are the norm, not the exception. Sometimes enough to throw the entire game off balance, like scoring rules misprinted. Misprints on cards are common. I find card damage regularly in brand new sealed games - cuts, creases, slices from manufacturing. Sometimes half a deck of cards have dents or creases or deep lines from the machinery, ruing otherwise gorgeous cards with beautiful artwork. Missing components. You name it. Sometimes replacements or fixes are offered, sometime not. Depends on costs and other factors. Often the publisher just misses mistakes in the pre-production copy, and gives the okay, even though it contains several goofs or misprints, just because they didn't check well enough, then they say after people complain months later when they get their games, "Sorry, we missed that". It's enough that we've been cutting back, as at any given time I'm in contact with 2-4 publishers trying to get things replaced or corrected. You can't just open the box and read the rules. You have to check the forum for every game to see if there are any misprints you need to know about, and which rule book should you read - the printed one in the box, or the "living" pdf rule book you can download. And which version of the pdf - v1.2, v1.4? Sometimes the publisher has the latest pdf on their site. Sometimes they don't and you need to find it on the forums instead. It's a mess. I love board gaming, and there are some great games out there to discover, so I don't mean to turn anyone away that is interested in the hobby, but it can be so frustrating, especially since they cost a fortune these days, with $40-$60 average, and many easily hitting well over $120 on Kickstarter. This was just to highlight that it's not just the blu-ray industry having these constant mistakes. It's really very frustrating indeed. |

Hey everyone. Can you do me a favor? In order to help get EVERYTHING fixed, please email WB. whv@wb.com.
Just state that the zooming also occurs in Season 3 openings from Episode 12-24. I have been in contact, but I don't want to overwhelm them with emails everytime I find another error. You can help make this happen! Let me know after you email them. |

I have no problem with the look and it blows away the original DVD's, but this is another thing all together. Please people, take the time, send the email, and get history preserved correctly. If you don't send the emails, the digital version may be the only one to get it right in the future. Is that what you really want to happen????? |
