Mine worked the first time I checked it out and then I wrote a post saying it was fine. But when I sat down to watch it again it didn’t. Typical.

I think they are all bad. On my PC as soon as it hits 5:05 it jumps back to 0:00 and starts over. If I manually drag the timeline to just a hair past 5:05 then it seems to be able to play fine from there again (no idea if it hits other snags later on again though).

Just checked my copy of the updated FX BD and it plays fine - no skips or freezes around the five-minute mark. My order was shipped after the defect was announced and VS said all future shipments would contain the corrected disc, so it looks like everyone should be getting corrected version going forward.

Mine played thru fine. And I’m just about done with 2nd audio commentary so that was 3 viewings in all (okay It did freeze once at I think 1hour 19 minutes or so on the first audio commentary viewing... but I guess I blamed my player at the time)

Loving this release - looking forward to the doc next

Oh my, This is my first time seeing this film tonight (just got my BF today) and holy moly is this film fantastic. The package VS has put together here is incredible, and I can’t wait to check out the extras. I think I have the corrected version, since I got my order sent to me after the post about new sets being sent out. Will have to check tomorrow.

But dang it if this isn’t my favourite release this year.

for some reason they'd rather send you into the loving arms of a scalper rather than alert you that their website should be back up & running again in the coming weeks and you should be able to order a copy for the new year. gotta wonder how many sales it's costing them just going dead like that

I don’t know if people just aren’t bothering to actually read the message on the site or what but it very clearly says “Our site will open up again shortly” and “Do not resort to eBay.” I don’t know how much clearer they could be.

The UHD has a bit too much red push but I'm ok with the disc over-all.

they tend to go a touch strong with the saturation, but otherwise make nice UHDs, don't make the HDR garish or fake as is too common
