I watched Copperhead, what an odd film. It wasn't bad but I wish there was more interesting stuff happening, seemed like the family
[Show spoiler] was lounging around most of the time.
The character Randall was the highlight of this film and his feud with the neighbor, he was fun to watch and his dialogue was funny, too lol... hmmm what else... So many Copperheads!

The quality looks exceptionally good for an SOV film. I'll have to check out Motor Home from Hell at some point.

Ya I watched it last night, liked it more than I thought I would in the end. Watching End of the Line now and it's great! Also I didn't know there was another film on the COpperhead disc so guess I'll need to check that out too!

Ryan and I spoke about the HHN discussion and if you are a clubber and don't plan on renewing - you can email us and ask us told hold that last spot for HHN if you are wanting that UHD in your initial subscription. You can email us chloe@graveface.com.

Lol. yeah, it's like a mumblecore SOV with some snakes involved. But hey, that's why Ryan and I love it so much because it is such an oddity. A true passion project that they took very seriously - gotta admire that shit at least.

We are VERY proud of the transfer that we did at TV. Really does look insanely good for video.

Motor Home From Hell is an experience as well...

Pretty much how I felt about it to. It's odd to say, but it's almost a little too competent for it's own good. It's a commendable effort to be sure, but doesn't carry a lot of rewatch value for me. It may be more appealing to people who actually aren't typically into the more oddball SOV stuff.

But for me, I love SOV stuff that's either friends having a goofy fun time making something in their backyard they think no one will ever watch but themselves, or ones that try hard to make up for their limitations by being bonkers crazy.

This isn't either of those so it falls a little flat for me even though it's a decently well made movie (with respect to the average SOV movie anyways).

I previewed the first 30 minutes or so of Motor Home while I had the disc in just to see if I cared to come back to it. It's seems much more in line with bonkers-crazy SOV's I described above. It seems much more fun and entertaining than Copperhead even if Copperhead is the technically better movie. I'm looking forward to giving Motor Home a proper watch.

TV definitely deserves tons of credit for how good Copperhead looks. It is absolutely stunning at times for a something shot on video almost 40 years ago. No one will mistake it for a good film sourced restoration, but it's unbelievable how good this looks for most of the runtime considering the natural limitations of the source.

It's not a concern for me so much as I plan to continue subscribing. But appreciate you guys acknowledging concerns and addressing it. It's a small thing here, but it could affect the perceived value of the initial subscription for some.

You, Ryan, Chloe and the rest of the team (no matter how small) are awesome for doing something like this. I subbed back in November but I'm likely to renew my sub soon when the time comes.

While I understand the confusion re: the HHN UHD and why some subscribers may be upset, I will say that the presence of the HHN UHD in the initial subscription almost made me pass on subscribing, as I'm happy enough with the Code Red blu that I own & in general am not as enamored with the UHD format as most seem to be. I figured I'd just sell my copy when it arrived.

So, in the interest of showing that there is another side of the no-HHN-UHD development: I'm actually one subscriber that is pleased to learn that it won't be among the first 10 titles included in the subscription.

Regarding the subscription description: in the future, using text along the lines of 'Subscribers are guaranteed to receive the next 10 movies released by Terror Vision - this may be 10 blu-rays, or some blu-rays and some UHDs, depending on the format that best serves the individual film based on available elements. No specific titles or formats are guaranteed to be included within the timeframe of your subscription' should cover all (most?) bases and help avoid headaches. The vagueness may initially cause a dip in the subscriber base, but the lowered expectations will likely pay off in the long run as subscribers renew based on having those expectations met or exceeded, and as they learn to trust TV's tastes (assuming those tastes ultimately line up with the subscriber's).

As a multiple-time subscriber to TV's Record and Cassette club, to Vinegar Syndrome's subscription, and as an inaugural subscriber to TV's Movie club from the first release, I've learned it's best to just treat everything as a lottery ticket, and be prepared to sell off whatever items wind up not being my cup of tea. The occasional inconvenience is easier on the constitution than stressing about inevitable changes to the subscription.

Ordered Linnea Quigley’s Horror Workout and then realized it’s available as an extra on my 88 Films release of Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers. Oh well. Looks like it has cool bonus features.

Yes, but they used the release tape/old master for that release. Ours is sourced from the original tapes and has the new and old extras. Hope you enjoy it!

Exactly. I own the old DVD and also the Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers UK Blu-ray, but I can't wait to upgrade.

It's included in my subscription, but I would have been the same way.

I did also grab the Vinyl LP for $22 + Linnea enamel pin for $5 with my TV wholesale link. Nice savings once again!
