Bought a couple of blind buys yesterday! Haven't seen Serenity, Moon, or Thelma & Louise. Pretty excited with the haul though!

He asked me if I collected slipcovers and I told him yes, and he just took each Blu-ray movie they had with the Uni slips (except The 40-Year-Old Virgin and The Breakfast Club because I had them) and just took them off and gave them too me. He said they have no value with the actual movie and he didn't care if I took them. They had American Graffiti and Field of Dreams but the slips they had for those were beat up, so I just took all the rest. They also had the Bourne movies but none with the Uni slips. My mouth was open when he said it because I just couldn't believe it. Incredibly awesome. I am so happy.

I have 14 of them now.

Just need: Field of Dreams, American Graffiti, The Bourne Trilogy and Billy Elliot.

Hell yeah!
Dang did you luck out man. That is cool. I got Seabiscuit on Tuesday. Now you don't have to torture me with pics of it. It is so beautiful. I have Field of Dreams, but am beginning to wonder what got into me with that one. Oh well, I'll give it a try at some point.

They are going anywhere from $10 to $14.99 I believe. I payed $14.99 for Seabiscuit at Target. The ones at Walmart go from $11.96 to $15, but they don't carry all of them. I might have to crack and get Across the Universe. Such a weird trippy little trip. Gorgeous though. Taymor knows her stuff.

AtU is a definite must I think. I love the movie and it's probably in my top 10. They did a really nice job with the songs. The sense with Martin Luther singing While My Guitar Gently Weeps and the last one are my favorites.

BTW does Walmart have a store checker like BB does on their site? I looked but couldn't find anything.

I do not know about that. I just know what the ones nearest me got in. The Bourne movies, Mamma Mia!, Babe, Inglorious Basterds, Field of Dreams, The Breakfast Club, The 40-Year-Old Virgin, and Ray. I picked up Babe and Field for $11.98 each. Then again, I guess different Walmarts in different areas of the US will get different ones.

Edit: I just checked WM.com and I do not see a way to check availability in stores.

walmart.com used to show u some of what was in the store u chose as your local store. but I guess updating that info for everyone's different walmarts was too much. (and it never had EVERY blu-ray listed that the stores had anyway, promos and other deals wouldn't register as available if looking on the site at what the store had)

Every single one is $14.99 which is one of the reasons I probably wouldn't have bought them anyway.

The majority of those "Universal 100's" are going for $14.99 @ Target this week...though some reported seeing Inglourious Basterds for $9.99.

It's the blu-ray. I was there yesterday and was surprised to see it for that price. I wish all the others were that cheap.
