haven't looked since the pandemic, but just right before it started, all my regional BB still had aisles and aisles of catalog titles (although my Local Target did sadly give those up when they did the "New" Target remodel, which also reduces the variety of pretty much evertthing in the store)

I'm in LA, and both of the Best Buys near me, which used to have probably 6-8 rows of Blu-Rays a few years back, now have just 2-3 smaller rows, and the discs are face out, not spine out, so one disc takes as much space as probably 8 discs used to. They make the bare shelves look semi-full that way. The stock is minimal and random and rarely updated.

Yeah, I gave up on Best Buy in-store near the beginning of this year. I have been using their online ordering more often and have actually been impressed the last couple years. Most of my orders arrive 1-2 days before release date and the rest arrive on the release date.

I don't know where you're living, sir/madam, but most BBs are gutted, especially in the last 12-18 months. Yours would be the exception.

And the "Disney Movie Club" equates to me as "off the market" as they will not distribute out otherwise. I ain't givin' no more money to the Disney machine!! I picked up any/all FOX titles I wanted over the last year or so, as well.

Gentlemen Prefer Blondes is also included in this collection if you don't already have some of her other movies:

ugh i hope not

anyway i said have not been inside once since the pandemic

immediately prior to pandemic (earliest of March 2020) my local one still had 9 long aisles and the next closest store had even more

but again have not been since the pandemic and am a bit worried what I'll find now....

Note that the packaging for this set is super flimsy cardboard with slots for the discs cut into it.

It sure is, I got mine a couple years ago when I thought it might be OOP, and there were not very many copies available for sale. I don't see it available anywhere.

It appears this is missing from Kino's list.

Yeah, those were announced OOP on the KL thread long ago. Best way to keep abreast is to bookmark and check their While Supplies Last page:

https://www.kinolorber.com/list/view...lies-last-2021

Check it often, add to your wishlist, and put them in your cart during the KL sales, like the upcoming one this month.

Good luck!

I don't sell movies, but that sure is tempting. It's been over a decade since I watched my copy and I had a real hard time enjoying it last time I watched it.

In fairness, that's for a sealed copy. Used copies are listed for $50 there, and completed auctions at eBay range form $40 to $50.

Great advice! That is exactly what I did with this one...

It's been in the While Supplies Last sale for a while now and while I have never seen it and heard bad things about it, I figured I better pick it up before it goes OOP and goes for $100 like all the other OOP Vincent Price blu's....
