During the last IB, it took me 10-12 hours of total game play (Thur-Sun) to get both IB armor, 2 Fusion Rifles, a shader, and a bond for my Warlock.

If it's standard Crucible, it takes forever to level up to Rank 3 from using strictly bounties, and with no boosters.

I'm down for the next IB. Probably do that with my Hunter and Titan next. At least you're guaranteed those armor items playing IB, rather than depending on finishing Raids getting duplicate armor, or nothing at all.

Yeah, the daily boosters help but the issue is that if you've not got the DLC, the highest you can be is 30 so you may be up against people who have the DLC that go 32 and above.
My highest Gaurdian is a Hunter at 27 which I used in the last Iron banner enjoyed the Iron Banner as I play a lot of Crucible but I don't want to be forced to buy the DLC if I'm at a disadvantage if the next Iron Banner

No. Both will be there but it looks like Eris will be perminant at the tower, unless I am missing something. We will still neeed to visit Xur as well. In one of the new quest you have to buy something from him and kill a bunch of different enemies to collect their souls.

She does sell heavy ammo synch though.

It was fun as usual and I got to push Blu-Benny off the ledge so it was all good.

But I did have a moment myself. I was jumping around exploring seeing if I could discover something new and ended up falling and respawning at the start of the puzzle. Being a Titan I was just going to Death from Above it across, but I forgot I switched back to Defender. Jumped off the second platform and dropped a bubble. So everyone was waiting on me too lol.

I should be able to help out but would like to use my 26 Warlock. That poor guy needs some loving because he is still rocking a rare chest. I will at least have maxed weapons.

Hopefully I can get him to 27 over the next day or so. I just need some more shards to drop. Haven't been able to nail down those world events though.

probably would have had the raid done in 20 minutes less if we didnt have to deal with that crap. My first raid I made it all the way over in the first try. I guess the game was pissed at me and "adjusted". lol

Very true that you'll be put in a disadvantage against the opposing team. It really doesn't bother me. I can get a .5 K/D ratio for every match, as long as my team wins, which is the most important thing getting those rep points than those medallions.

I think it comes down to skill, regardless of your Level. I've seen 30's in Crucible and Iron Banner where they really never contributed to the Fireteam. They're harder to kill and take more damage, but if they can't aim and just stay in one spot. You've got a chance.

So someone mentioned to me that the reason the raid doesnt kick you out at the end is because no one has ever found all the rewards? They also said there is a grimoire card for going back through the portals after Atheon has been defeated. Anyone know if this is true?

Also, whats the lowest level you should even attempt vault of glass?

The portal thing isn't true. My first guess is that Bungie just screwed it up like so many other things, lol.

I think you should be 28 to do normal, but you can do it lower. The second half gets a little tough when below 28. And of course 30 for hard, and try to keep no more than 2 29's on the team.

I haven't heard that but it makes sense to me. Maybe they don't take you out because they are giving you the chance to explore some more and find something.

Lowest I've ever tried the raid is 28 on Normal and Hard. And Hard at 28 for me was pretty much impossible since you are doing around 50% less damage to the level 30 enemies.

You make me feel better about my first few attempts. I know everyone hatted waiting on me. We didn't mind waiting last night. Heck, I like to never got up the wall to the secret chest. Casual had to come back and get me.

We have gone back through the gates. You immediately get Marked and quickly go blind.

There are lots of theories out there about this game and most of it hasn't been proven. Some them are very interesting though. Not sure if I could link the site but just Google your question and you will find some interesting reads.

I have helped out on the raid a few times here lately on normal and there were level 26 guys. It can be done but I think it depends on who you are also playing with and what weapons you (lvl 26 guy) have maxed out. A couple of 26's and a few 30's should be able to make short work of the normal raid if you know what you are doing.

For the hard raid I would say 4 level 30's and 2 level 29's is the lowest I would like to play. Not saying it can't be done with more 29's but having the 30's makes it much easier.

So what's more important for the hard raid? level 30 Armour? Or maxed out weapons?
