What about Oregon? They have been a great football program for awhile now.

I would love to see Oregon play Bama, or even UGA, just not Kstate or ND.

I think you're going to see Notre Dame in the national title picture for a long time now. Brian Kelly is doing an awesome job with that program. I know it's early, but he has a MONSTER recruiting class coming in.

Because if Maryland or Miami had the same squeakers they'd be #3 too He gets the benefit of ND history propping up his program, the only reason I'd want to see ND is so they get destroyed.

UGA? Seriously? The luckiest team in the SEC year after year, though eventually (next year?) they'll have to play some of the teams in the West.

Still a more relevant program than Kstate.

Not this year. KState has played a tougher schedule than UGA the past several years in fact.

They'll be irrelevant next year, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't be in the NC.

UGA has been irrelevant from a NC perspective for 32 years.

It's a good class, not monster. They're ranked #3 in 2013 recruiting by Rivals. If you go by average star rating per recruit they're ranked #7.

The school with the monster class is USC. They have five 5-star recruits with their average recruit rated 4.3 stars. This could end up as one of the best recruiting classes of all-time.

And they'll still be coached by Lane Kiffin.

When Kelly accepted the Tampa job earlier this year (before later changing his mind) Oregon had agreed to a contract with their offensive coordinator Mark Helfrich to become the head coach, so I assume he would still be the choice to replace Kelly.

Just because you are a powerhouse one year does not mean you are a powerhouse next year. Ideas that like are a contributing factor to teams being overrated each year.

Ask Stanford, Boise, TCU, and Utah how thats going Programs have improved, but its NOTHING like the hype they were all getting even just 2 years ago

they always seem to have great classes, but they just can never put it all together. next year is a new QB (who is there next in line? figured by now i would have heard something about replacing Barkley ) and they just seem to have too many players jump ship for the NFL early, and they always seem to get a bunch of skill positions (WR, RB, LB) but none of the "in the trenches" guys, but maybe because no one EVER talks about those positions...

seems like since Bush and Leinart left USC gets talent, almost too much in one area, and can't put together a solid season. whether that's because they're overrated or what is another discussion but the last few years they always have one or two hiccups along the way.

USC's current backup is Max Wittek, a redshirt freshman who was the #3 pro-style QB in the class of 2011. They also have Cody Kessler, another redshirt freshman who was the #2 pro-style QB in the class of 2011. They've also got a verbal commitment from Max Browne, who is the #1 pro-style QB in the class of 2013.
