Exactly why I wasn't going to buy this. At $25 I said no, but when I found the coupon, it seemed worth it to get it for the price of a DVD.

Got a copy for $11.99 at my local Bj's.

Hope it's worth watching (at least once.)

TL will actually get this this weekend cause this weekend Missouri has no taxes

I said it in the Hannah Montana thread, when other compaines are going down, Disney/Buena Vista is going up.
that's funny i was at bestbuy today, had the movie in my hand and the regular price said $34.99.

got my copy today and I still love this film.
it was just a very fun ride from beginning to end, enjoyed it in theaters as well

My only problem with this BLU, is that the transfer is mediocre.
I sat down and watched the DVD version that came with it and consider me not impressed by the blu-ray presentation vs the dvd converted. Very soft, lacks detail, washed out colors ... more than the transfer I think it has to do with the way the film was shot. Bummer, I guess I came to expect more from Disney. I guess they can't work miracles.

Can somebody please answer me something? I have a friend who will split the cost on a used copy of this with me, if the DVD copy included contains the special features as well (cause then she'll keep that). Does it?

Enjoyed watching enough and took it for what it was. However, it was a rental and I'll never buy it.

I know she is young and probably cannot be very choosey at this point but she has talent and I do feel it was a bit wasted here.

$25.99-$10 coupon-$10 gift card with purchase = about $8 out the door. Yeah, that's way too expensive. I will be watching it on Sunday.

Who else? The teenage alien in the movie, AnnaSophia Robb. I've heard horrible things about this movie and I was just going to rent it but the purchase price with the 2 deductions is pretty much $2 more than a rental so I figured why not just buy it?

She is good. She totally carried "Bridge to Terabithia." I kinda felt bad for her male co-star in that one, actually.

She looks like a younger Scarlett Johansson without the boobs to me, I think she's already at Scarlett's level as an actress though. Between her, Fanning, Breslin and Kristen Stewart, I'd say Hollywood's future is looking very bright.

I just got this movie today. Looking forward to watching it again. I went to see it when it was playing in theaters and realy enjoyed it.
I also saved my kid niece from spending money as she was planing on buying the movie on DVD this weekend. Well I was a nice uncle as I gave her The DVD version from this set. I dont need it. I bought Race to Wich Mountain to watch in HD not standard Def.

That was nice of you. I might do the same for my younger cousins.

I'll let my sister and niece have the DVD if my sister gives me gas money for that 3 hours I spent earlier this week lugging them around town trying to find my sister a job.
