Yes it's an ugly design, but it's cheaper!

I'm just thinking if the tray will suck in the disc or push it out the 6th gen way (old fashion way like 360).
I sort of like the LARGE eject button though:P

Not that we can really see that much from the shaky cam (or cell phone?), but the design looks fine to me...
Now is it really a PS3 slim, or a PS2 (or something else) in a home mod of pretend PS3 Slim.... who knows? One can find anything on Asian markets... But a never anounced PS3 Slim, and without any official launch? Doubt it. (unless it has "fallen off the wagon" from an employee of the factory who's producing those for Sony in mass before a surprise launch?)

What would be the difference? Even if there was a non-replaceable hard drive...which is pure speculation and holds no merit....you could always hook up an external hard drive (which is what I did when I had a PS3). Is this slim bigger width wise than the fat ps3? Sure seems like it. Regardless with price drop I might be picking one of these up for my living room projection/ht project coming soon.

fake or not, that thing is ugly from those pictures/video. Does it really look that "slim" to you guys? As ps3 owners we are pretty spoiled, because we got the "good, shiny" ps3 already. I'm sure many parents won't care if it's shiny or not as long as it costs less and works.

"slim" is an incorrect term for this. its smaller..and a lot smaller. its by no means slim
