Be happy active members of this forum .Inside information is that Neither Jodha nor ghajini or Race authored by chandna. After reading the reviews in this forum-Big Pictures and UTV cancelled their work orders and sent the HD master to some authoring house in Europe for authoring and replication.The same authoring house is authoring Kambakth Ishq and Love Aaj Kal for Eros. This is and was the reason for delay and now Jodha and Race will show in Indian markets on Tuesday. Next week we will let you know the exact authoring and replication house.

It is insulting to the upper income-ers to pay 2 lakhs for a big HD screen, Audio setup with DTS HD and fully featured BD player... and then have the picture distorted by stretching an SD to wide HD... or see those black pillars...

I have seen the PQ and AQ of Lage Raho and Billu Barber recently released in India and was not happy with the upscaled quality of bonus features, promos etc. But the PQ and AQ of the main movie was better than some of the titles released by Sony, Parshad or API.

Why Parshad is not giving all his titles like Siva? So how Can I expect that Lage Raho will be equal to Siva in any respect.?

I think all depends upon the sources provided by the producers to authoring company.

Lets see what PQ and AQ is provided by this European Authoring company in Jodha , Ghajini or Race.

plz let all this be true ..bcoz da only bluray's im interested in is jodha & ghajini ...nd i want them in the highest quality possible bcoz tht is the only reason for purchasing the bluray version..

Just visited the Reliance BIG Home Video website and the price ain't too bad for these 2 BD's.
But also saw the price they had the "Gladiator" BD listed at - Rs 1999 or 43USD?? Someone really ought to love this shoddy transfer of Gladiator to pay that knd of cash

Actually the German Steel book is not too bad. Decent transfer. Could have been better

Rock On was done by API. It has both LPCM and DTS-HD(MA) and scope friendly multi-language subs if i remember correct. The quality of the BD master was approved without any changes by the director.

sounds good, now let the material prove itself.

and hopefully with eros switching authoring houses, and API attempting to set a benchmark...the rest of the industry should follow & maintain the trend.

Only rock on was done by API not ghajini. Bluray team of API broke up in ancient time.
