The reviewer for the Toronto Sun who usually rips these kind of movies apart gave it 4 stars, was very surprised. Might check this out this weekend, I think it looks funny.

I thought it was pretty good, but closer in production values, etc. to Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure than to Back to the Future, if that makes any sense.

Will the target audience enjoy it? Oh, without a doubt, I think almost 99% of those in the target audience will have a great time.

I saw it last night. It was just what I was expecting - the typical R rated comedy of the past 5 years. It was a lot of fun.

I did however notice some historical inaccuracies. For example,

There was probably a few others.

Saw it last night. Didn't love it. There were some truly hilarious parts, especially involving Craig Robinson, but Rob Corddry's character went too overboard for me. And I also hate it when comedies with unappealing characters try and have a few ounces of drama by the end. In a movie called Hot Tub Time Machine, I don't give a damn about the characters. It never works.

4.5/5 but I voted 5. It was so hilarious. I knew it would be funny but it was even better than I expected!!!

This was hilarious but The Hangover was better.

Crispin Glover was amazing and I loved the running gag with him. Lougle FTMFW.

I seen it last night and thought it was really good. Rob Cordry was the guy that totally made thw movie for me, man he was funny. I am defintely going to buy the BD of this movie.

Besides the Bromance Orgy nature of HTTM and The Hangover, what else do these movies have in common. I dont know why so many are comparing them.

Agree - Hot Tub Time Machine is more in the vein of Bill and Ted and Harold and Kumar than the Hangover. I liked the Hangover ok, but it seemed like it was trying too hard to be a "quotables" Apatow-ish movie, whereas Hot Tub Time Machine just ran wild with anything it wanted to do.

I loved it - I give it 4 stars. It was also pretty heartfelt and genuine, which I didn't think would be possible. All four of the main actors impressed me a lot.

2 stars for me! Movie was all over the place. I wasn't rooting for any of the characters...Lou was pretty hilarious though.
