Have most people learned to control and suppress it? Yes, but it's still there. And for many people, that graphic violence is a real fear. That's the point of many movies, to explore emotions, be it fear, anger, happiness, whatever. And news flash, it's not real. I don't even know what to say about that orgy comment, I'm sorry you seem to be afraid of sex. Sex is about reproduction and in some species cases, simple enjoyment. I guess dolphins are spiraling to destruction too?
Lol, i really wasnt trying to do a religious rant but discuss what happaned to old empires that became corrupt and had lose morels to the point that killing another while citizens watch and cheered on even though it was someone elses family member being decimated and that wives and husbands were told to attend these orgys or something would happen to them which would of course would not be nice,i i think they were advocating forced sex,now this ment joining in or a awfull occurance happening.

I dont have anything against sex it's how making love occurs or the population increases with as an example married couples or those who are not, infact if folks want they can go out into the woodlands and have relations with bigfoot, really does not matter because this had to do with societys of old corroding and how sex was a part of that, not actual love making.

If humans are exactly how you state no matter if they evolved/created or a combination of the two and nothing more than animals or genetically corrupted then if there are any entitys/civs other then us out there they certainly would not want us to go out in this universe and destroy/corrupt them too!

The dolphin thing made no sense at all and this was about the decline of are modern society and why folks are so excited about people being cut in half and chopped up like bovine.

I've seen plenty of horror movies that didn't require watching someone sawing off their own damn foot. Give me a break. Oops was that a spoiler....

so wierd how anyone would enjoy these type of movies, gotta be pretty messed up in the head?
meh each to their own i guess!!
The one thing I loved about the first "Saw" was that it had just a few gory scenes, but much of it was not shown. All of the sequels, however, show every agonizing moment. I ultimately have mixed feelings about them.

I generally liked the first "Hostel;" one of those few movies that makes me feel xenophobic (especially since I heard that this sort of thing actually happened in real life somewhere). I also enjoyed the end,
[Show spoiler] watching the main character escaping
. I found it rather thrilling.

I have mixed feelings about "Hostel 2." I guess I almost like it.
