Looks pretty decent to me. Not sure if I like the flip-down front though.
I'm sure a lot of people will hate it because they can't let go of the past.

I see nothing wrong with it either. 2.0 Profile out the box, supports all HD Audio formats, SD Card support, what more could you ask?

Nothing is "wrong" per se....but I could ask for streaming, Wifi, "XDE" upconversion, you name it.

You also have to provide your own 1GB SD card.

Why get this for $249.99 in Nov. when right now I can get a P1600/BD370 right now for ~$200 that will soon stream, collectively, Youtube, Netflix, Blockbuster, Vudu, Cinemanow and Pandora.

Yet the Oppo costs 500 bucks, no muiltimedia streaming, no wifi, but where are the complaints? Plus I had to purchase a Flash Drive for my bdp-s350, again what more could you ask?

I stand by my claim, this player, at least in part, seems to have been farmed out to the same group responsible for the Magnavox players.

The remotes are nearly identical and the HDMI port is inverted the same on each.

Remotes:

Toshiba

Magnavox

HDMI Port:

Toshiba

Magnavox

Yep looks like Toshiba worked with Funai to get a player out quick. Just like how Philips and Funai work together on newer models.
