It probably means it looks like crap either way. The DVD had dull and dark colours to it.

opened it... and how they package the two disc is possibly the dumbest thing i've ever seen with a DVD or blu-ray. Its a standard one disc case, with a round felt type thing stuck on top of the middle where the disc is meant to go, so the discs sit one on top (blu) of the other (extras dvd). Are two disc blu-ray cases hard to find or something?

Pyaar Impossible is the same. The packaging was worse though. The plastic seal over the case was actually glued to the back of the case in some spots.

So I watched the first half of Rocket Singh. No major complaints about the transfer. Its decent. But definitely not one of the better YRF blu-rays. Looks like a very good dvd at best.

I think our desi studio's may have figured out a way to make a quick buck... Selling glorified DVD's in the name of Blu-Ray

Ditto i was telling samething earlier in some thread . Bollywood Studios aren't really concerned about BluRay quality/Customers .

Sigh. Great. I ordered Pyaar Impossible and Rocket Singh. I don't know why I even bother buying original Indian DVDs and blu-rays. I should stick to Hollywood stuff.

WOW. I own a good amount of Hollywood BDs and I've seen a few different styles of 2,3, and 4 disc packaging, but this... the correct term to use here is GHETTO. LOL! That's so shameful.

I don't like the idea of glorified DVDs... the only people who should be allowed to get away with that are people who make bootlegs for a living, lol, not the studios.

Opened my discs early today and the thing i hated was the way they had one disc over another which i have never seen before this is worst thing ever that you can imagine from Bollywood Studios . As i earlier stated on other threads bollywood studios are just upto making quick bucks they dont think about quality nor customers feedbacks .

I rented DVD for Rocket singh which was good but bluray colour looks dull and if this continues in future i will skip Blurays from Bollywood studios .

Finally, the Blu-Rays for 'Rocket Singh: Salesman Of The Year' & 'Pyaar Impossible' are available in India. The reason for the delay was the packaging, more specifically the 2nd disc (DVD) of extras being simply put on top of the BD in the case. Yash Raj has now repacked both titles, wherein they have put the 'extras' DVD in a seperate art paper sleeve and repacked it in the same case as before. Although a case that has provision to store two discs would be preferred, I suppose this is still a better alternative to the absolutely unprofessional way it was done earlier.

PS: I shall get back with my views on the Audio/Video quality as soon as I get the time to watch the movies. Luckily I have not seen either of the films yet.
