She started out her career in acting and has a fair amount of experience. I wouldn't assume she's a bad actress based on that... unlike other people whom I have no idea why are still acting.

Me too. I've watched it a handful of times and really enjoy it. If anything, with the massive beating it continues to take, I almost feel a sort of perverse pleasure at the level of fun I have when I watch it.

Oh, I wouldn't count "Old Dogs" out of the running just yet--
The fact that it was remembered at all is one of the things that dimly restores one's faith in the Razzies as bad-movie watchers, however misplaced it might be these days.

("All About Steve" was certainly bad with or without the celeb-gay Sandra Bullock jokes, "Trannies Too" was up there for the cheap box-office-bash, and I'll wager none of them even saw "GI Joe" before nominating it--They do have a self-fulfilling tendency to hope that a movie will be as bad as it sounds a month ahead of time.
But "Old Dogs"....oh dear: Was it mentioned that Disney was going to do two other goofy-slapstick comedies (one a wedding comedy), and a "Wild Hogs" sequel, from the same director, and shut all THREE down on how humiliatingly this one had bombed?
That's called "Shutting down the chemical factory". Or in this case, seeing a franchise shut down by a 600 lb. gorilla.)

Yes I thought it was funny too, but not one of the best. If LAND OF THE LOST is nominated for worst of the year, then I guess its my guilty pleasure film of 09.

I just watched Land of the Lost, thought it was pretty funny. How can you put the Jonas Bros. in the worst acting category, I haven't seen the movies, but aren't they just concerts, how do you act in concerts? Maybe someone can clear that up.

I can't really think of any other good comedies this year except for The Hangover and Zombieland.

It's hard to believe that a group of supposedly adult, educated people thought that it was a good idea to produce this movie and bless society with its release. I guess if you are going to dream, dream big!

Let's not get confuse on this, Avatar is not a great movie and does not derserve a Best Picture win but it's far from being as terrible as some of the nominees for the razzies. It seem blindness work's on both side of the equation, why can't people just be fair and look at things for what they are instead of being blinded by love or hatred?

I am surprised that "Ballistics: Ecks vs Severs" or "Superbabies: Baby Geniuses 2" did not make the worst of the decade list. Not that "I Know Who Killed Me" and the rest aren't bad, but perhaps there should be ten nominees.

Oh, you have not seen them either, so stop pushing blind RottenTomatoes "0% Club" fan-worship in our face.

And IKWKM was only up there for gay celeb-bashing Lindsey Lohan jokes (start to see a pattern here? ), but they're taking Worst of Decade from the past ten winners' list.
It's in the running, but don't take other omissions personally.

I admit that Transformers RotF could have been better in terms of story and whatnot (though I still really enjoy the movie), but the other nominations for worst picture are just that, a lot worse than it IMO, especially Land of the Lost and All About Steve.

I agree 100%. From what I had read, I thought it was going to be horrible, but I thought it was VERY entertaining .

GI Joe was by far the WORST movie of the year. It deserves EVERY SINGE ONE of those nominations.

Marlon Wayans has to shoulder most of the blame for making it unbearable to watch, but if you take him out of the equation (and replaced Sienna Miller with someone more suitable for the role), as an action flick, it's not that bad. Personally, I found it more entertaining than Transformers: ROTF (with greater replay value, to boot), but that's not much of a stretch. The difference is that one was bad, but the other was worse.

Did you see Miss March, The Last House on the Left or A Haunting in Connecticut?

I thought they were each easily more terrible than GI Joe....Miss March being my pick for Outstanding Achievement in Movie Suckage.

I liked Last House on the Left, I thought it was a solid thriller with good revenge factor.

...HA!! You thought OTHER people made this movie? Welcome to the rabbit-hole world of Vanity Filmmaking, pal.
We'll go into more detail as soon as Russell Brand gets that vanity movie of his own that he's been trying six times to get someone interested in.

(If "adult grownups" were involved at any stage of the process, it was studio executives who didn't know why Green was popular on MTV at the--very brief--time, but hey, Can't Argue With Those Crazy Young People... )
