Typically I'm not a Sci-Fi fan. There's a few shows I DO like that fit that bill, but for the most part, not really.

Why set the dvrs? Why not just watch it as it airs?

Also, In Plain Sight is a USA show. Which makes it good.

Because not everybody works during the days. I myself work second shift so I don't watch anything live.

Because it's on USA it's a good show? Lol, everything I've ever seen on USA was complete and utter garbage.

Ha. You are funny. Psych is one of the best shows out there, and Burn Notice is kick ass. White Collar may become a great show. We'll see where they go with it.

FX doesn't have that many "good" shows anymore.

USA is so clean cut and wholesome in their programming. They're like the Brady Bunch of all the networks. Everything follows a very predictable format. I've never heard anybody talk about USA shows the next day, FX on the other hand, yeah everybody talks. Not to mention they have Sons of Anarchy. That is one show people talk about not days or weeks after it ends, but months and months afterwards. FX is responsible for gritty tv, the kind of programming that ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX (they created FX because they couldn't have it on the flagship) and yes even your beloved USA will not touch. Because the idea of a bad cop, of jesus no! They couldn't ever show something so fictional. I don't watch USA, and I won't watch USA. But this thread is about Justified which is on FX, so that's all the the promotion the Brady Network gets from me.

I've never seen Sons of Anarchy. An Nip/Tuck is terrible.

However, every show on FX has crooked cops. Oh no! A cop that is not crooked! How will we get good tv!

Not every show need to have gritty "realism" to be good ya know.

Yeah all that statement has proven is that you want to argue and that you don't even watch FX. And AGAIN this thread is about JUSTIFIED, so keep going, I'm not replying to anything unrelated to the show.

Rescue me is a phenomanal show. Archer and It's always sunny are fantastic, Damages... Don't care. At all. Nip/Tuck sucks. Justified looks awesome. Sons of Anarchy looks alright. I'm not at all into biker culture or whatever it is but it looks good.

And you have already proven that you don't watch USA. PS, none of the shows I mentioned about USA are about cops.

You're completely out of your mind.

Burn Notice and 4400 (RIP) are two excellent shows.

Royal Pains, White Collar and In Plain Sight are good as well.

I completely agree. Every now and then I watch The Closer if nothing is on. But I just don't see anything good about those shows. At all.

I have my DVR set since I'm working that night. I usually record everything anyway just in case I'm not home.

When I'm not working, there are also times when I'm just not home. Not like I really factor in to the ratings anyways. There are only a handful of shows I will catch the day they air, the rest I'll get to when I feel like it. Considering most tv is garbage now, I think I have maybe 14 timers on the DVR to cover the entire year lol. BTW, The Closer is on TNT.

Oh haha that's what I thought. I was thinking about it for a little while which just proves I barely watch it. But still, I don't like those shows.

I have 11 episodes of the Tyra Show on my DVR from the last couple weeks. I only get to watch on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays so they added up after a while and I just haven't watched them. I tend to watch the other shows more because they're a continuation and I'd rather find out what happens and all that.

I watch Southland which is on TNT so I see a lot of promos for Saving Grace and The Closer. I am so pumped for Justified. Something to fill the void for the next 13 weeks. Sundays and Tuesdays are going to be very good for the next several months. The Pacific at 6 followed by Breaking Bad at 7. Than Justified and Southland both on at 7 on Tuesday.

Same, a lot of my shows are going off very soon. One's finished next month and the rest in May.

Weeds starts in June probably. I'm getting Season 1 & 2 of Breaking Bad next week, if I like them then I'm going to watch season 3 when it airs. I also bought Season 1 of Nurse Jackie and the second season starts in two weeks so I need to get started.

One of the best dramas on TV right now, if not THE best.

Olyphant! Lawman, Judge, Jury and executioner, all in one.

Should work well.
