F1 2010 - Out Now !

Can't wait for this (Getting it on PC though.... $34.99 vs $69.99 and DX11 support just can't be beat). Sucks seeing it in my games list every single time I start up Steam knowing it won't unlock for more than a week still. But I guess the stereotypical Canadian in me is hooked on NHL 11 at the moment anyway Don't really follow F1 (Will watch it every now and then) but enjoy F1 games and with Codemasters behind this one I don't see how it won't deliver.

Kmart will be selling F1 2010 for both consoles on launch day for $44.99. Such a hot deal on release probably won't be in the ad though.

good result at Monza, shame about Hamilton, but he accepted it was his own fault.

Shame Button got jumped in the pits, but 2nd is better than Spa's finish.

With 5 races left there are 5 drivers who could all take the title; I would love to see a McLaren 1-2, but Red Bull reckon their car suits the remaing races

Very emotional day for the Ferrari fans and drivers, pretty cool sight to see. Very unfortunate about Lewis though, having to take the DNF. I like having 6 drivers all in a decent battle for the championship at this point. Makes it more interesting. And that was just some superb driving by Alonso.

Yeah, you can't really fault him or Jensen, just a shame McLaren pitted first giving Ferrari the edge, Button was losing speed thanks to the shunt he got from Massa at the start though.

Looking forward to Singapore, it's a beautiful race; the cars all look amazing under the lights. I'd imagine that's one of the circuits that must really push the PS3 and 360 in terms of lighting effects.

As long as Alonso doesn't win I'll be happy, can't stand that whinging tool. I'll be happier if a Brit wins though. Crashy (Vettel) could still have a hand (or wheel or nose) in who will be champion

grrr, I just called my local ebgames/gamestop, ship date is 9/21, street date is 9/22.

Walmart wont carry this game in stores at all, pre-order only, Kmart is showing a street date of 9/21. Maybe I'll hit up Kmart on the 21st.

I think even without the damage Button would have run slower than Alonso anyway and that the damage was icing on the cake for Alsono to eventually catch him. And yes, looking forward to racing Singapore at night. Should we overdo it and add rain too?

Vettel is a great driver. Terrible racer. I really don't have a big preference to one driver, but I'm not huge fans of the RBR team. Anyone else winning is fine.

Curious - where did you see/hear Wal-mart won't be carrying it? If you mean online, it's always that way until release.

Does everyone here use racing wheels, or does anybody still use a controller? I want a wheel but I just can't pony up three digits for one. Unless someone knows of a good one that's under 100 and compatible with F1 and GT5.

Maybe I'll just save up some money and post-holidays be able to get one.

I've always used the pad for driving games; though apparently GT5 will offer Move support? is there a wheel attachment coming out?

Anyway, I've never owned a steering wheel and I doubt I'll get one this time either

You're best off buying a Logitech wheel - either the G27, G25, Driving Force GT, or Driving Force Pro wheels.

Amazon currently has the Driving Force Pro wheel listed for $99, and that will ship free using the Super Saver option. That's about the best option for a new wheel. Logitech's are very sturdy and have great force feedback.
