here is a kinda crappy pic. the colors are just what you see. but the detail is MUCH high than in this pic. i haven't put much of any effort into trying to take good dig camera pics.

I'm gonna have to get a projector again! I'm probably gonna hold out until the fall though to see the new models. I'm sure Panny will have a 5000u model.

Well, I thought I`d give this a try.
I`m no good with a camera, even had to borrow one, but this is my best screenshot from Kill Bill vol 2.

Projector : JVC HD950 ( zoomed to fill the screen )
Screen : 117" Stewart Firehawk G3 2.40:1 aspect ratio

Thanks,
Dave

Yeah, gave up my theater room so my daughter could have a bigger room and we also have a baby on the way so I would of had to give up the room at some point anyway. I had to move my stuff to the living room. Hopefully we can move in the next few years and I can get another dedicated room. I'm trying to figure a way to get a projector setup in the living room. The WAF thus far isn't too keen on it. She only wants to allow for a tv setup and then an electric screen coming down over that. I however did try out some electric screens in the living room and just didn't like any of them near as good as I did my Carada I had in the theater room. Because of this I got rid of the projector setup earlier this year.

Right now I'm using a 47" inch. My projector setup was 118" screen!! I miss the size (that's what she said)! I'm either going to get another projector at some point or am going to wait and buy a larger 3D tv but nothing under 72".

I had always thought my blue setting was too saturated because of the indoor scenes in this film. I guess since your seeing the blue hue too, it is actually how it was filmed.

It's a James Cameron film, some part of it has to have that blue hue/tint. It's something that seems to be in all his films.

I would think if you have a projector that's the very definition of rich.

Well,... that's how I see it anyway.

Hey pchin? If your home theatre isn't done yet then where did you get those pics from?
