What I'm going to do (if nobody minds) If a date is selected that doesn't work for me, I'll have another forum member pick my players for me (someone not in the league) and I'll just split the winnings..... if.... er WHEN I win.... but I'll pay the entire $20 or whatever it is if I err..... The idiot who picked them, loses

I just like the weekly roster setting, etc.... and following the games..... I hate auto-draft though, because no matter how much you set it prior.... you end up with some crazy team with Derek Anderson on it

Just talking, not trying to stir things up, but is anybody interested in individual defensive players this year? This is our third year so everybody is a little more football savvy at this point. Team D is like fantasy football training wheels.

I'm not against it, but have never done it in my 8+ years of fantasy football.

I'd say we can try it next year, if everyone wants to give it a shot?

I've never played fantasy football that way, so it would be a new experience for me. If the majority want to play that way I guess I'll have to do some studying up on that particular aspect of it.

Just a suggestion. I've played both and I much prefer IDP. Man, I'm so ready for football season !

I know this is wierd brfore we have even drafted, but looking for advice.

I have the 3rd pick in my other 12 team league. Its similar to our league except we get 1 point per reception and QB's get 6 points per TD.

I'm pretty sure CJ and AP are going top 2, so what is my best option in that league format? I'm thinking MJD, Ray Rice, Andre Johnson, or even a QB. Any thoughts?

I would go with one of the RBs. At that spot lots of quality receivers and quarterbacks are going to make it back to you but you won't get a RB near that level. If it was me I would take Jones Drew.

Since it is a PPR league I would go with Ray Rice since him and MJD are going to most likely have similar rushing stats but Ray Rice will most likely have more receptions.

For the draft, I'm thinking Wednesday September 1st. The earliest I could do it on a weekday would be 7:00pm PST. I don't get home from work until 6:00pm PST. Does that work for you Easterners?

The only weekend day that might work for all, would be Sunday September 5th. However, it's over Labor Day weekend. I could do that day if everyone wants it, but I have a bachelor party the night before and I am the best man...so, I will not be in good shape for a couple days.

I can do either but your 7pm is my 11 pm. I don't want to go any later than that.

Everyone please check your emails. I just renewed the league from last year. Yahoo sent an invite to everyone's email from last year that you all need to accept.

All the settings are the same as last year (for now) and the draft should be set for September 1st at 10:00pm EST.

I'll do the draft order on random.org tomorrow.
