I picked up the Blackstar CD at Target during my lunch break. I've listened to it three times through, and I think that it's outstanding.

As I suspected, the YouTube videos that I heard a few days ago were sped-up, and they gave me a false impression, although that impression was also favorable. The actual songs on the album are much more melodic and moody.

Hearing them in proper order (and speed like you said) did make a difference. The album is a lot better than I initially figured it was going to be. "I Can't Give Everything Away" has been on repeat for the last hour...
