I actually think this set is pretty nicely priced, I mean if you compare it to the 'Kick-Ass Collectors Edition' set, which is just £10 less, yet only includes 1 (maybe 2?) discs, a slightly bigger box than normal, some art cards and a graphic novel.

I wonder what the prices for this one are gonna be like in-store...
Yes you can, just start saving now

I would expect the prices in-store to be probably £90-100

Where it's been mentioned though that Sigourney Weaver would be recording a commentary for these films, I don't see said commentary / commentaries in the list of extras. Her name only appears in the Alien commentary, which is identical to the Alien Quadrilogy dvd release?

£44.99 thats just the first pre order price, Wait for a small time that will go down. They always do.

To be fair Fox Pricing on boxsets not been to bad. I was expecting 40ish or could be less when it gets released.

The first x-men trilogy had a good price when it first came out and the x-men 4 movies box set had a simular price when it came out.

PS I am excluding the MGM box sets sold by Fox boxsets since I do not know if MGM control the prices of Fox do.

Sideshow makes some crappy stuff too.

But this looks promising.

Sweet! Standard version for me, no idea where I'd put that egg thing!

I hope they have managed to clean up Aliens, looked a bit rough even on DVD.

White one looks really cool, shame if they dropped it.

HMV now have it up for pre-order: £45.99 for standard boxset (£1 more than Play) or £92.99 for Limited (£13 more than Play).

Amazon still don't have it up for pre-order, they still have it as a sign-up for notification. Are they even aware that it is being released now?!?!

The legislation specifies that the classification symbol has to be on the front, back and spine. The Video Recordings Act came out during the "video nasty" scare of the '80s and the government were concerned that children might get to see inappropriate material so it was deemed necessary to have symbols clearly identifiable regardless as to how the video was displayed.

Why wait for amazon. Unless amazon's jersy partner handeled the order you will be waiting for it to ship while I would be watching it at home. Look at play, HMV, even thehut.com group would get it to you earlier then amazon.

I think that egg looks AWESOME, but I just don't know where I would put it, and at £80 it's a little pricey for 2 good and 2 poor films. If it was 4 good films then maybe...haha. I think I will go for the normal boxset for the simple fact that it's easier to shelf. How long do you reckon it would take for it to price drop then? Because going off of the DVD 8 Disc release, it should go down fairly quickly, that was £80 when first released!!!
