Recieved this yesterday courtesy of my new German friend and I'd have to say I'm super glad I got this over any of those Asian steels - looks 10X better.

Clearly I'm in the minority that think this though

so all the extras is on 1 disc in germany. While on US set its 2 blu rays you get. Does that affect the PQ of the movie or is the PQ the same even if there is so much extras on the disc. If it is the same i wonder why the US version opted to use 2 discs if they easily could have used 1 as the german release

I don't know the details behind the release, but there are many reasons why a studio may go with 2-disc in one market and 1-disc in another, and it may have little or nothing to do with PQ/AQ.

For example, it could be due to production issues such as easily making one disc for multiple markets and a second disc to be included in only one or two markets.

Or it could be pure marketing so you can sell a 1-disc for $30, and add a 20-cent 2nd disc and sell it for $35.

While there certainly may be technical reasons for going to two discs, sometimes it may have nothing to do with it at all.

Thanks!

This question is toward any steelbook I guess, but what's the most you would pay for one? I only ask because there are some that I'm dying for (ie: the iron man dual and toy stoy), but idk if I'm down for that hefty price tag

edit: I just read there's going to be an iron man 3? If so, I might just wait for that. Or maybe the Avengers. Decisions, decisions...

It appears to be G1, there's a DVD logo on the spine (by the look of it) and it says format: DVD in the description.

I have 1 of these IM2 MM that I never even opened
Never seriously looked into getting the 1st MM Steel I suppose
I'd sell mine for less than $46 (€35) but TBH I wouldn't know exactly how much to ask for it
PM me I guess if you're interested
It's definitely not an easy Steel to find
