and really if you are not going to let apple fix it, you can always try to fix it yourself...

Ps. the tools are for sale at the bottom.
Yeah that looks crazy! I might screw it up, and i need to buy a new HD and it's probably not worth it.

My co-worker said he''ll buy it from me and send it to Philippines.

I have a 3G and I'm happy with it. I just started my contract earlier this year so... I'm good.

Okay I'm probably going to sell my broken iPod to my friend for $XX...

So what color should I get for the Classic. Black again, or Silver?

Black. And get a freakin case for it so you don't scratch the back of it. Mine's been a case for couple of years and it looks brand new if I take it out

I voted for a 4G Touch in September.

1. The storage is solid state meaning you will not have to worry about a hard drive failing.

2. Apps, Apps, Apps.

The only downside is the storage size is quite a bit smaller than your old classic and so your will need to manage the space better.

I always have a case. No matter what. I also have the protectant clear shield front and back, and I use an ifrogz case.

And that's me using my iPhone taking a pic at my desk from work.

I have a clear hard plastic case and its protected my iPod from everything. I go jogging with my iPod and everything. No problems at all.

If they would lower the damn prices for the Touch iPods it wouldn't be so bad. But DAMN, their prices are ridiculous and the smaller harddrives doesn't make anything better. I would hate to pick and choose what I want on my iPod. I have hundreds of albums on my iPod that I listen to whenever I'm in the mood. Until Apple lowers the prices of the Touch iPods and add a bigger harddrive (without a killer price tag), then I'll be sticking with the Classics.

I might as well buy a new ipod that's standard instead of messing around with this.

I ordered an armband case online, so it looks like I'm getting the iPod 160GB in Black today from BB.

Not sure if I want their 2 year warranty..

Ever think about another brand that has better audio quality? Cowon S9 has best AQ of any mp3 players being made right now. second is probably an iriver. The interface is not as easy as ipod but the AQ is night and day better. Just depends what your looking for.

Damn, I missed your post! I'll have to check it out now to see if I can fix my iPod.

Since I bought my new iPod a few days ago I need to resync all my stuff in this one. Hopefully I can have 2 iPods. 1 for movies/pics, and 1 for music.

And my iPhone is strictly for apps, text, and calls.

I might really consider getting it fixed

I'll see if I can get LeAnn's co-workers at the IT dept to see if they can fix it first.

I called iResQ and they said it would cost $135.99 to replace the 120GB HD from my iPod.

I can buy a new 160 GB one for just over $100.

I sure want 2 iPods now that I have a new one.

Well, Paramore is one of my favorite bands and the butterfly is on the cover of their latest album Brand New Eyes.

It's actually a custom made iPod skin that I ordered from Paramore's web store.
