I open them, get the discs out and put them in amaray's and print custom from here and other sites.
The steelbooks themselves I wrap them again and store them together however once in a while I open them to look at them.
Its cheaper getting the plastic cases than buying the movie twice.

I open all of mine but lately I am doing a lot of returns due to dents. As I stated numerous times before if you don't open them why collect them other then for resell value. I really find it funny people displaying their Steels lets say with Iron Man Toys or whatever else and they have every version of the Steel, yet they keep it sealed and some of them are covered with 30% or more of ugly stickers. If you're blowing hundreds of $$ on every Steel version out there and you got the model/statues/display's why leave them as is. The steels are so much nicer unwrapped

"Them's fightin' words!"

jk... I open all of mine too, and I'm not a big fan of all of those stickers either, but there are plenty of people that disagree...

I imagine it takes quite a bit of restraint having so many lovely Steelbooks and not being able to open any of them up to enjoy the beauty found within

Kudos to all of you guys that are able to keep them sealed... I just can't resist opening all of mine...
If it has a BR inside that'll play in my PS3, there's no way I'd leave it sealed and buy the amaray for viewing

However, If I already have a movie on BR and it's released in a Steelbook, I'm buying (and opening) the Steel and selling the amaray

Totally Agree - these movies were meant to be watched ! I have 6 ST`s and all opened ... and will open the future purchases too. The prices are weird - Kick Ass is in Play.com from 39 pounds up and brand new in Amazon 19 .... so I won`t rely that these are going to be any super good investments, if at all - I buy ST if I stumble on good movie that is released as one ... not hunting them. It`s weird (also) that people buy crappy films just based on their package ?!
