I think you'll be waiting a long time.

Considering how amazingly cheap this box set is as well I can't really understand the logic in waiting, by the time Alien and Aliens are released on their own it probably won't cost much more just to buy the box set.

I want the limited edition, but not the limited one with the egg. I want the ordinary limited six disc set. Is that going out of print now that the four disc set arrives? Maybe I should buy the six disc version now then.

I'd pick it up now if you can as it may well go OOP. The original Digipak is long gone unless you look around Ebay or CEX.
