Can anyone tell me if this edition have the same 3D effect (white layer over main character which makes him stand out, and no white layer over the background which makes it metallic) as German edition? Comparison photos below (taken from the forum - Javo and Roman CH.).

^ It appears a similar process was used, though to me it doesn't look identical butthis may be due to the lighting conditions of that photo. You certainly can't see any of the metallic finish through the character. The only spots where it's visible is on studs on his armour which they've purposely left like that.
