Seems like it. The Statue of Liberty and the Empire State Building can be seen in the logo.

Oh ya...never even noticed. There's a sign in the teaser trailer that says New York on it as well.

2011 is off to a great start so far:

We have:
Killzone 3
Dead Space 2
Gears of War 3 (yes I said it)
Infamous 2
Rage (in September)
Resistance 3
Fear 3 (sadly got pushed back)
Batman Arkham City
Chances are also good that Uncharted 3 will come.

There are a lot of games coming out this winter too which will undoubtedly spill over into 2011 for me...but R3 easily tops the list.

2011 will be another vintage year for PS3

Can anyone remember in which game, or was it a tv prog, that featured a big billboard with Resistance 3 on it?

It was a while back and was the first confirmation that R3 was underway.

You know what, I never finished R2, I must get back to it, KZ2 completely stole my time and R2 was a casualty.

that wasnt a game or tv. program..it was seen from some movie studio in Louisianna

Hoping for this one to have the 8 man cooperative campaign like part 2 had. That was the best part of the game for me.

Apparently it was for Battle: Los Angeles. It's a Columbia (Sony) movie that comes out next year.

Oh and don't forget co op for the main story. They had to have those people on the train for a reason.
