Yeah, I already sold my BD's of TS 1 & 2 anticipating the Ironpacks... For what I sold them for I will pay more just to get them back...

Yeah, I held off even purchasing them until an announcement was made one way or another as based on last year, I assumed they would be released around this time of the year.

I guess I am impatient... I really wanted them, then they had a coupon... i am a sucker for a coupon... and those big red signs at stores that indicate discounts. I can just hear macruz sighing now...
I loved them so much though, i would buy them again if they came out in IPs

I would be devastated if the Toy Story IPs don't come here. I know for a fact that TS 1 and 2 would be an IP with movies in it and not empties but TS 3 might be an empty if they did.

I can pretty much guarantee TS3 will be an empty case presell because it was listed on their website when BATB was but they removed it... Here's the link for it but they disabled the page...

Glad this all came to head before I started spending bank on the other Pixar and Disney steelbooks I missed. If the Disney animated and Pixar ironpacks don't make it to Best Buy I may rethink collecting these.

We shouldn't have to hope for them to sell us on a double dip within the same calender year. I picked up all 11 Disney Steels in one day when they came out last year and the 2 preorder empty ones. I thought last year was going to be a one time occurrence that they were playing catch up for not releasing the steels at the same time as the standard releases, and that all future BB Steels we would be getting release day option of standard or SteelBook. I am very disappointed that this will probably be the way Best Buy will continue doing this into the future. They will round up all the new releases for the year and do like 4 or 5 SB or IP (or eventually metalpacks probably) re-releases right before Christmas.

I am fine with rebuying items to get a collector's set. I am also okay with paying a premium to get a better version of a new release upon release. The way they are doing this is terrible. Last year Monster's Inc SteelBook with discs came out only 1 month after the standard release, they couldn't have given us the option on day one? With coupons and first week sales we can usually get a new Disney Blu for around $10-18, then six months later we get the chance to rebuy it for $35 just because it comes in an awesome case.

I honestly don't know what I am going to do here. I don't like to buy part of a set, if I have one I want them all. It will be impossible to say no to BB's free Steels (or IronPaks) with preorders, but I really don't want to have to rebuy all the others. Maybe I'll just start skipping the live action ones like Alice and PoP. Then I won't have the complete set though, but maybe someday that won't bother me anymore.

That's what I planned to do, only buy Disney animated movies and Pixar, no live action (so no Alice, PoP, PotC, etc).

This is all Best Buy US's doing, but it doesn't have to be that way.

Future Shop in Canada pre-announced their SteelBook releases in the fall back in August or September last year. BB US needs to work on customer complaints.

Don't get me started. Have you tried their in-store pick-up? More than half of the time the item is not ready when you there...

That's what I want to know as well. Prince of Persia comes out next Tuesday. there is no mention that it will be available at Best Buy in ironpack. I would LOVE to use that $8 Disney coupon for PoP in ironpack!

I would have thought that if there was a PRINCE OF PERSIA IronPack coming out from Best Buy, someone would have reported it by now.

I'm sure some of the members here are Best Buy employees and, like Future Shop, the stores should have all received their shipments by now if they were to get them.

Unfortunate, but it doesn't appear likely that POP will being showing up in IronPack at BB. Maybe Target? Or Walmart? How about Borders?

Mexico will have TS3 Ironpack (probably the exact same Ironpack as Futureshop/BestBuy) and a mexican site have this picture for the cover.

What do you think?
It makes me think that each Toy Story will have a character in the cover.

Jessie most likely. They'll probably put Woody on the first one, Jessie on the second.
