I think I, and probably others, rushed in thinking the SteelBook was an an exclusive pre-order offer. Once it showed up on other retail sites, the deal became pretty much a no-goer for myself.

Personally, I can't justify an extra £7 for a t-shirt (which I'm not fussed about) and an early release date.

And how much earlier do the Eureka Pre-Orderers get their copy before others?

I think the Eureka pre-order, rather perversely, is a better deal for non-UK residents (unless you want the (effectively half-price, not "free") shirt of course).

can anyone confirm this is the blu-ray version on hmv the title doesn't mention blu-ray at all

Yes it is, because in the details below it says Format: BLU-RAY.

well not really interested in the DVDs but it will be a really collectable steelbook
to own so I bitten the bullet and pre-ordered it

I contacted Eureka Video about the steelbook. This is the response I got back:

The case will be Blu-ray sized and will be painted not stickered.

Hopefully it's not region-locked
