I just ordered it. Hopefully it will be as well packed as my recent Taken DVD, I was quite pleased with that.

I ordered this just now and The GRAND total to my door was only $26.54! For 4 freegin movies. Sure, the first three are the real meat here since the Wolverine fiolm was a little dicey....but it was CHEAPER to buy the Quad set over the Tri set so what the hell?

FYI - Once you process through the order the actual price will be 12.49 pounds, not even the 14.99 pounds they list! Crazy!

Damn, Amazon UK is da bomb!

Considering it's £45.29 to order it from the US to the UK vs. £16.21 UK to US it a massive saving! It really pays to shop around....

Amazon UK kindley takes off the VAT for you... Amazon US adds the VAT on for us.

I already had the trilogy set and Wolverine separately and was gonna wait and see if they put out one with First Class in it,(of coarse they will).

Having seen First Class last night and thinking it was a load of crap, I'm quite happy to have this Quadrilogy set. Looks much neater on the shelf as well.

I think the X-Men BD's are pretty stacked. I think X-Men might be the 1.5 version, which if I remember correctly missed out on some of the original DVD extras one of which was a Spider-Man cameo blooper.

Info from DVDCompare. We get everything apart from the bold stuff highlighted for Wolverine.

So, in order to get everything:
1. Look for and pick up the original DVD for X1 in order to get all the missing extras from that release.
2. Pick up the quadrilogy blu-ray set.
3. Double dip for the Origins blu-ray to get all the extras in bold, not included in the boxset.

Well, if I am going to do that, I might aswell, pick up X1, X2, X3 and X: Origins seperately, to avoid double dipping for the extra stuff from the X: Origins triple play release. At least that way, I'd get the slipcases aswell.

I wouldn't worry much about the stuff not in the BD set, unless you really wanted the extra featurette in the Wolverine Triple play set. The originally X-Men DVD pops up now and again for £3 in supermarkets, it may even pop up when First Class is released.

The separate slips are nice though....

Thing is, I'm a bit of a completeist, but after watching Wolverine on Channel 4 earlier tonight, and seeing the glaring plotholes and continutity errors, I'm thinking of leaving it out.

In other words, getting X1 (original DVD release for missing extras), X1 (blu-ray), X2, X3 with slipcases, aswell as the First Class steelbook, and call that complete.

But then again, I am a completeist.

I have a quadrilogy boxset still sealed in shrinkwrap. Would prefer the individual releases though for the slipcovers. If anyone has the single releases of the movies in mint condition and wants to trade then drop me a PM. Happy to pay postage both ways.

Excellent deal! It's a great set, and X-Men Origins was better than I expected.

Box set now comes with 4 discs instead of 7. I bought mine a couple of months ago and it came with 7 discs and I got a copy for a friend that was delivered this week that came with only 4. Anyone knows what happened?
