So how does the 3D/2D Version work.. is it the same disc? 2 discs?

I'd just imagine that the 3D+2D version would have to have a lower-quality video (or audio track) to both fit on the same disc with all the extras.

This will be a Day 1 purchase for me! I'll be getting the 2D version!

I saw this opening night in the IMAX theatre with my dad and my brother.

I loved most of the movie. My only compliant was the ending.

If this was the 4 movies in a slipbox then it would have had another name and not "Resident Evil: Afterlife 4pk".

Maybe i'm wrong and it does turn out to be all 4 movies in a slipbox or maybe i'm right in thinking that some huge Special Edition of the 4th movie will be put out.

I didn't see this in the theaters because I wanted to see it in 3D HD at home for the first time! Kinda feel sorry for the people who have to make do with 2D

Depending on the price difference I may get the 3D version as well. I don't have a 3D set up but it includes the 2D version and it'll be nice to have a 3D title once I upgrade.....IF I upgrade that is....

I just hope they take their time and make a great BD conversion. I would be dissapointed if they rush this and turn out a ghosting mess.

It'll probably be the ultimate set type of thing. 4 disc set... 1 3D blu ray, 1 2D blu ray, 1 special features or DVD copy and one Digital copy

I'm looking forward to picking up the 3D version. I recently upgraded my TV and they gave me the 3D Shrek Quadrilogy. I wasn't too impressed and I'm thinking it has to do with the fact that they were converted. This film was shot in 3D correct? I would also be interested in finding a Steelbook edition since I picked up the Wal-Mart exclusives. Uniformity all the way!

I think it will be a 1-4 set like the Predator 1-2 set Best Buy had exclusively for a certain length of time. The price is too high to think it is just Resident Evil: Afterlife unless it came in incredible packaging.
