Its a Telugu Story, made the most money from Telugu version and we have nothing, but in Hindi both movies telcasted on TV and also released on DVD
![]() How will the Tamil people feel if Robot DVD is released first on Telugu and a few months later in Tamil. That is feeling I have right now already about Raktha Charithra.
Are your serious man ? I have seen so many posts from you about bringing the Tamil-telugu-hindi comparison .. we all happen to speak a language and its not like you chose a particular language to be your mother tongue !! Get over it and stop such stupid comments !! Movie industry is just a business .. its not like they have the Raktha Carithra out in Hindi becoz they want to piss off all telugu people !! Patience is the key my friend |

So, if they make a movie in three different languages and release in theaters happily in three different languages on the SAME DAY ... then why is it so hard to release the DVD in three different languages on the same day too, or at least with one or two months maximum difference. Rakhta Charitra DVDs for both Part 1 and Part 2 released in Hindi way too early, and in Telugu we don't even have a DVD for Part 1. Now that Gemini got the satellite rights I will happy if I even see an announcement for a DVD release. Is asking for the system to work the way its supposed to, too much ? I understand its all a business, but its people like me who try to make these businesses understand how to operate to keep their customers satisfied. |

This is 110% WRONG news that Sri Balaji is going to release the Vedam DVD before they have just orally talked about the Vedam rights but again they cancelled the deal because in Vedam movie two producers are there and one is not agreeing to sign double agreement because they have already given to GEMINI TV. So try to understand that Vedam dvd rights are not with anybody if any one is saying that they releasing DVD IS NOTHING BUT PIRACY because the producers wont assign rights to any one. |

![]() If any DVD company releases the Vedam DVD, then they would definitely sign an agreement before they decide to release it on their company name. None of the companies in Telugu will release a pirated version DVD.So, just Chill. And one more thing, Producers may sign an agreement with any DVD company after the movie is aired on Gemini T.V. Who knows what happens in future? How can u rule out all the possibilities of Vedam DVD releasing in any company? Last edited by Terminator2; 01-27-2011 at 12:01 PM. |

![]() I am very disappointed because I didn't watch Vedam at all and really want to see it but because of Gemini I will never get to watch it. I can't see it on TV either, because Gemini TV Channel is not available legally in my country. Gemini is a TV channel and it should only buy Satellite Rights. It does not make home videos like Sri Balaji. I don't know why so many Telugu producers are signing deals with Gemini relating to DVDs. Is it so hard for our producers to understand: You sell Satellite rights to a TV channel You sell Home Video rights to companies like Sri Balaji Videos Anyways, who here wants to watch a movie on TV for over 5 hours with all the ads that Gemini shows in between plus the annoying side pop up ads while the movie is playing. Ofcourse the quality of TV Telecast sucks compared to DVDs. Gemini is so cheap they don't even have a HD Channel. If they are so rich, they should afford a HD Channel at least. |

Examples being, none of these movies, which got aired on Gemini are available on home video-shivaji,aparichitudu.Both these were blockbusters in its time. they just want to recover the satellite rights investment & block the home video release till they earn profits. since Robo belonged to them, they've sold the home video rights to Balaji. The produces seem to be afraid of sun networks clout,at this rate the industry shouldn't keep CRYING about piracy, anymore. All this behavior is totally discouraging for genuine purchasers like US!! ![]() |

Not just Aparichithudu, add Shambo Shiva Shambo, Katha, Saleem, Ride, Bhairava, Tejam, Tajmahal, Vaade Kavali, Gomilaar, and now Vedam, possibly even Raktha Charithra 1 and Raktha Charithra 2 at Gemini TV's locker list There are Sooooooooooo many other movies that I don't even remember the names. Just imagine how many DVDs are not releasing because of one stupid channel making deals with the producers. We cant stop the things Gemini TV (Sun Network) is doing. Even if you and I send email to Gemini, no one will read them. They don't know what customer service means. I sent them an email long time ago and they never responded to it. If big companies like Sri Balaji can't do anything to Gemini what can we do? Maybe we should get like a petition going to push GEMINI to release the damn rights for DVDs. I hope someone in the TFI industry is reading this. Can we get an email of the producer, maybe if everyone who wants Vedam DVD, sends email to that producer. He will think again. From what I heard, the agreement is already done with Gemini. Gemini TV bought the Satellite rights and Home Video rights as a deal.
Gemini does not have overseas rights though ![]() BHAVANI should contact the producers in India immediately and release the DVD If anyone is close to Mr.Rajasekhar (Bhavani's Owner) please contact him and update us if Bhavani can buy the rights. Last edited by annayya; 01-28-2011 at 03:48 PM. |

We are not at all thrilled by this because their pricing isnt matching their quality on DVDs. To date, I LOVE the quality on ALL their BluRays and no complaints on the pricing either! |

What would be the cost of overseas DVD rights for this movie.
I heard overseas DVD rights can be purchased at a very affordable price than Indian DVD rights. |
