Most of my favorite movies are so partially cause of their soundtrack.It really brings an extra scale to the movie if the soundtrack is good.
Some of my favorite composers are; Hans Zimmer(with "apprentices"such as H.G.Williams and Klaus Badelt),John Williams, John Powell,Steve Jablonsky and Charlie Clouser.

Remember The Titans. Seriously does it get any more epic than Trevor Rabin's Titan Spirit? Absolutely love it.
Tron Legacy. With most movie's scores, its just one track, but this doesn't have one exact track for me. It's one of the rare ones I play all the way through.
Spirited Away. Love Joe Hisaishi, and this one is just perfect to listen to at times when you want something with tranquility.

I enjoy James Netwon Howard's soundtracks. Particulary, his collaborations with M. Night Shyamalan.
Alexandre Desplat seems to be becoming on of my favourites recently. I really loved his score for The Ides of March.
