This is something I'm still seeing often from members, taking online retailers listings as actually being correct. It should be widely known by now not to ever pay attention to or to trust the specs that any online store has listed on their site, for all countries, most of the time online stores simply list titles with the region code respective of that region of the world. The member who posted on the previous page about it being region free actually owns the disc, as do I, what we have told you about it being region free is accurate. The disc doesn't have any special features, so you don't have to worry about any 1080/50i content either.

Ok perfect, thanks for the explanation. Pretty sad all these retailers have to do is properly list the details of a product but that is just too much for them lol. I really appreciate the feedback, i have been on all kinds of forums over the years but never one like this (so globally interactive) and where so many ppl are quick to be helpful & friendly. Now i can go order the movie and complete my Karate Kid set (sorry, 4 and that re-make do not count !).

I am torn about getting that Karate Kid III bluray...I want the movie on bluray so bad (it's my favorite one), but I don't want to pay that much for a barebones international release...

You should have pre ordered it. I did that with Part 3 and Next Karate Kid from Germany and they came to about 30 U.S. dollars for both.

The Karate Kid Part III, and The Next Karate Kid are $9.98 each on JBHiFi.com.au at the moment (roughly $8.50-$9 U.S).

Nice! I'd only want to buy The Karate Kid Part III though from JBHiFi.au

The Karate Kid Part III, and The Next Karate Kid aren't the best movies in the world, but the BD presentations are quite strong going from the caps.

Is it me or it seems they've altered the color timing though (unless the grading wasn't right on the DVD version but it looks more natural to me)?

Love III. For me it's the original, a classic and number III.

Don't care for the others. Part II is so wet and dull. Never seen the next kid, refuse too. The remake..poor!

The color grading looked warmer and less "greenish" though. I got the Blu-ray, and some of the reds almost look pinkish (see the tournament climax).

Just ordered this off that site listed here. $13 and change USD, worth it to me. I just hope it plays in my player but others mentioned it will be fine.

This was always, in my eyes, one of the 3 originals and I love it, not really sure why people wouldn't, especially since it ties right in with the first one.

Anyways, looking forward to this..
