Awesome. I thought the score in The Social Network was great but this one may be even better and that's just going off ~4 mins of it. Can't wait!

IMO, Fincher's one of the top 3 Directors currently out there & one of the all-time greats - not to mention what he brings to the screenplays & his visual style of film-making. I can't WAIT to see this one!!

I am very excited for this movie. I have more anticipation for this than any other movie this year. It's coming out on my birthday, too.

Only problem is that I'm pretty sure my wife and newborn son won't be wanting to see it with me- so not sure what I'm going to do there.

I know that anticipation can be bad- something isn't necessarily going to be good just because I want it to be. But I will say this- from all the information revealed so far, this movie just about has the most potential it could have. Who else would you pick to direct it? Who else would you pick for Mikael Blomkvist? Daniel Craig is awesome.

Oh yeah, and Trent Reznor is a genious- I'm pretty sure the soundtrack is going to be very moody and awesome.

Watched the teaser trailer 3 times, watched this new trailer 3 times. Read all the character profiles on the movie website 2 times, and listened to the ambiance loop on dragontattoo.com for a couple hours. You could almost say I'm obsessed?

I can't wait to see anything Fincher does - he's the best imo (or at least my favorite) behind Spielberg. Honestly though, I didn't care for the characters or the story and even the atmosphere altogether in the original movie and I get a sense of the same feeling from the first couple of trailers.

Visually it's impossible for Fincher to let you down and he almost always brings the best out in good actors so that can at least put off my worries for now...

Best trailer I have seen all year. Rooney looks and acts exactly the way Salander is supposed to look. Reznor's score is great too.

I really like the little bit where Blomkvist came to her apartment to try and get her help. I thought her reaction in that scene defined the LS from the novels.

I agree completely. When I think of Salander I think of Natalie Portman or Ellen Page in Hard Candy. I cant imagine Scarlett Johansson ever selling that waif look. She would have rocked the nude scenes tho.
