Frankly, vampirism is not one of my favorite horror tropes, and I haven't seen many movies about it.

I prefer Penny Dreadful to any vampire movie I've seen.

Not just a great vampire movie, a great movie period

Count Dracula (1977)
BBC television production and one of the more faithful adaptations of the novel. Louis Jordan was an amazing Dracula

Fright Night
Right up there with The Lost Boys for campy 80s fun

Interview With the Vampire
Not a big fan the first time around but the BD sort of hooked me

Honorable mentions - The Hunger, Underworld

Honorable sort of mention - Lair of the White Worm. Not strictly a vampire story but it had all the elements and used them extremely well
The only thing I'd change is dropping Count Dracula to make room for Only Lovers Left Alive

When I was little, I rented every vampire related VHS I could find in the video stores. I have deeply fond memories of stuff like To Sleep With A Vampire/Dance Of The Damned.. but I kind of doubt they hold up.. Subspecies series is still fun, thankfully.
