I watched my Arrow BD of SPIRITS OF THE DEAD and I was very pleased with the overall quality. PQ and AQ are very good, packaging is beautiful and I love the thick booklet and vintage pictures.

I've been wanting to order that one for a while.
shipping from amazon.uk is still horrible though, and until I get my order from early Jan I won't order anything else.
really hope amazon.uk gets their issues resolved soon.
it's really beginning to bother the crap out of me.

I plan on getting:

Released:

City of the Living Dead
A Bay of Blood
Inferno

And these not-yet-released titles:

The Beyond
Tenebre
Bird with the Crystal Plumage
Phenomena

At least if they get them right.

I already half Dawn of the Dead and City of the living Dead. All of these are blind buys. Im going to pick up The Beyond next as it seems rather interesting

Just watched A Bay of Blood, as a ferocious Bava-fan I am quite pleased with this release! The film looks wonderful, a great improvement upon the dvd. Even though this is hardly Bava's prettiest or meticulous film, his cinematography really shines in high definition. Thank you Arrow for a very fine release, now bring on Black Sunday, Lisa and the Devil and Blood and Black Lace!

I already have A Bay of Blood, Battle Royale LE, City of the Living Dead, and Inferno and Deep Red just came in today. I can't wait for The Beyond to get here, it's one of my all time favorite movies.

I'm on the fence with the Romero Dead movies since I already own the US releases, but I have a hard time saying no to Arrow packaging.

Just noticed that someone rated all 3 of my Arrow picture sets in my home theatre gallery 0.5/5 on December 31st over the space of 1 minute.

Spiteful son of a gun, I must have ticked them off lol

I just found it a little bit funny, like they said to themselves "he won that argument but I'm going to hit him where it hurts, his home theatre gallery ratings"
Ooh, burn.

In my copy of Vamp, which I received today, there was an Arrow catalogue, and according to that Brian De Parma's Obsession is coming soon.

I'm on the fence about ordering CITY OF THE LIVING DEAD and INFERNO from Amazon UK. I know the latter has quite a lot of DNR but reading the Beaver review it still looks decent.

As for the former, I'm going for the cheaper option since I'm not that crazy about it in the first place.

Any thoughts? Should I abstain from buying? Is Amazon UK still ubber-slow?

Since mid January, I've had 5 amazon UK orders and have taken anything from 5 days to 3 weeks (although the 3 weeks was a rather large book so it might have something to do with that one taking a long time)

Maybe wait and see what the Blue Underground release of "Inferno" looks like. It's not like the Arrow set is going OOP any time soon.

I also just ordered "Phenomena" and "The Beyond" from Amazon... with FREE shipping too!

So happy right now, as this stuff arrived this morning.

These are even more amazing in person and definately the best Blu ray releases I own, I love, love, love them so much.

I love the poster's and am wondering if I should display them/wall framed or should I just keep them in the Blu ray. What do you guy's reckon?

Nice collection there mate.
They would look great in frames I think, as long as you don't just blutac or pin them to the wall

I was recently shopping for frames for small posters (Bioshock 2 posters from the Collectors Edition set) and found the best fit for me was a few clip frames. Cheap, but look very nice.

Yeah, I wouldn't blutac them. What size frames did you get for them?

Well the Arrow posters are usually about 35x44cm. For my Bioshock posters, which are a little bit smaller (30x38cm), I got 40x50cm frames and they look like this;
