Yeah, I use to spend much more time at AVS, but the failure of the moderators to keep obvious HDDVD Nazi's out of the Blu-ray software and hardware forums has been... disconcerting.

This is one area where the red side really excels. And they accuse the blue side of a viral marketing campaign. The consistency of the red side talking points is really notable.

Viral marketing mixed in with doublethink. I implore everyone to read 1984 if you haven't if you need a clear picture of what doublethink is. Essentially the "30GB is 50GB" argument is present. We've seen changes in posts, the past is controlled (edited or deleted), along with anything else that HD-DVD spews. Heck we can even state that the HD-DVD camp is simply the Ministry of Truth.

If you look in the "Don't feed the trolls" thread over there, even fellow HD DVD supporters are starting to suggest that Lee should be banned (along with GLOW and I of course) because he cannot control his outbursts.

I was quite surprised the first time Lee came right out and called me an *******, within a few posts and I was barely talking to him at all.

It stood there and I realised that HDF doesn't seem to care so much about insults, as I realised when Lee began to further provoke me.

Now I just call him an idiot right off the bat, because he doesn't deserve any better. Guys like bruceames I can have a decent conversation with, and PCF5, but not Lee and SuperXP, those guys are just blind trolling fanboys, so they get what they deserve.

Lee is currently on his 3rd suspension for AVS. He just doens't get it.

I disagree with your saying there are no intelligent conversations here. There are many, the problem is you visit the titillating thread titles like this one.

Ok, the Blu Bloods are silly; the term means snobbery or someone who is about to pass out for lack of oxygen. Still they are having fun and I don't care as long as they are not using this forum as a safe haven after trolling. That'd bug me. There is nothing wrong with their saying, "Go Blu".

I left Highdef and joined here in January. I will never go there even to click on a story. The fewer hits that place gets the better. Let it eventually swirl down the toilet bowl.
